Installation is so much easier if you attach the white clips to the rocker panel first then, starting in the front, pop them into the holes. The white clips can be removed undamaged from the frame by sliding 2 thin blades (e.g. putty knife or similar) under front and rear facing side of each clip and compress, they pop right out.

You saved me a load of grief with this tip. Two old credit cards work perfectly from either side of the clip. Squeeze them together, you’ll hear it.
