In the books, Carlisle was picking glass out of Bella’s head while Edward got the venom out. Here, he’s holding onto her thigh. Keeping the pressure on to avoid her losing more blood as Edward removes more with the venom.

In regards to your question on why the movie is called twilight, it's honestly a really genius name: Meyers uses the night cycle in order to symbolise the transition between human and vampire. The titles lay out essentially the end of Bella's life. And by morning, she is reborn as a vampire. She uses the Sun to signify Edward and the Moon for Jacob. But it also has a double meaning in regards to what actually happens in that film. Twilight - it's essentially the beginning of nighttime (the beginning of the end of Bella's life) when the sun is no longer visible in the sky yet the light remains for a little while. it is the first time the vampires can come out without glistening in the light. In the movie, the vampires come out to play for the first time. New Moon - pretty obvious. Edward's gone (there's no sun), and the moon is up. moon = werewolves. we're introduced to the pack, the wolves, Jacob etc. It's also a dark part of her life - night time, but her only source of light is Jacob (the moon). Eclipse - An eclipse occurs when the Moon is in front of the Sun. Jacob throughout the entire movie attempts to essentially block the sun (Edward) to get her affection. However, by the end of the film, Edward wins. And this leads perfectly into the next phase of the night Breaking Dawn - Jacob's gone (running off bc Bella's getting married), the sun has risen again on a new day - a symbol of rebirth, new beginnings, etc. Bella becomes a vampire (she's reborn into a new life, new world). The "yesterday" (her humanity) has gone.

hey Brad, if you wanted to know, the name Twilight was explained a bit more in the first book (Twilight) but even more in Midnight Sun (Edwards perspective) where he exclaims "It's twilight", and in his mind he explains that twilight is the best time for vampires to go out, and, if i can remember right, it's because the sun is hidden completely by clouds and falling, allowing them to roam free even after the brightest days. hope this helped :)

The book and movie are called Twilight because Edward and Bella have a conversation in the book about the time of day twilight. I don't actually remember the specifics of what the conversation was about but I remember that they have the conversation and the conversation was full of longing and yearning because Edward was leaving her for a couple hours or something idk... The original name for the book was actually Forks. Glad they decided to change it lmao.
