And throughout the whole series her dad is always trying to connect with her. He’s seriously the unsung hero of the whole thing. In my opinion.

Fun fact: forks is a real place in Washington & every year they do a twilight festival. this franchise actually saved the town financially because now they get more visitors. Also Bella’s home is on airbnb, the owners tried keeping Bella’s room the same as the movies 😂

PLEASE do the whole series!!! 😂 The movies came out at the perfect age for me and I was obsessed. Then in the subsequent years I went into a phase where I was super embarrassed about ever liking it and tried to keep it hush hush, but now I'm older and don't care so much. These movies represent a really joyful, nostalgic time in my life where I had good friends and good memories, so what could be better than that? I always get a kick out of people watching this for the first time. I say the best way to watch is just to watch for the entertainment factor.

Despite its cringiness, this series is definitely a guilty pleasure. And I can admit that I love watching it. To explain about the eyes, when a vampire drinks human blood their eye color becomes bloodshot red, when they drink animals’ blood, it becomes a golden brown coloring, and when their eyes are black it’s because they haven’t drank blood in a while and they need a refill. 👩🏻🧛🏻❤️🖤

Was not expecting you guys to do the Twilight series, a fun surprise for sure! There is always that one person who just can't see passed the age gap and it makes these reactions so much better. Can't wait for New Moon! As awful as these movies are, I'm not ashamed to say that I love them, and the books. I was 13 when the movie came out, it was the first of the main series books I read at that time (vs The Hunger Games, The Maze Runner, Harry Potter) and I've re-read the books many times. I had PJs with the wolf symbol (you'll see in the next movie) and even a Jacob cut out in my room, I have the books in both paperback and hard cover, as well as the movie companion books. A line from Edward in the 3rd movie was even my text tone for my then boyfriend/now husband 😂 As an adult, I recognize the cringe and red flags but still enjoy the series for what it is and it's always good for a laugh.

In Edward’s defence, he’s never fallen in love before. That’s why Bella is somewhat of an anomaly to him because he’s never met anyone that has made him feel that way. So Bella is, in fact, the first high school girl he’s fallen in love with.

I’m with The Answer on this one. And I say that as someone who read the books when they originally came out. Twilight is creepy and cringe and could easily be renamed “Red Flag Romance: The Movie.” 😂 But in Mason’s defense, they are really fun to laugh at with friends. Fun fact- Midnight Sun is from Edwards perspective and it explains that in the classroom scene where they fist meet Edward was literally deliberating how to kill Bella and everyone in that classroom, which is why he was acting that way 😅

Gonna be honest here. I own the 4 main Twilight books, as well as Midnight Sun, which is Twilight (the first book) from Edward's point of view. It really helped to clear up A LOT of questions and plot holes left from Bella's lack of perception and lack of awareness to the situation she was actually in. I am actually really hopeful that Stephanie Meyer makes the other three books from Edward's perspective as well. As for the films and "team" I'm Team Dads, Carlisle and Charlie. A bit team Alice too. Edward, Bella and Jacob can go take a short hike off a tall cliff for all I care. Also one of best film memories I have was in the theater for the first film, and when Carlisle first walks in that hospital room the ENTIRE CROWD just gave a huge gasping sigh of approval and then we all laughed at how stupid we sounded It was hilarious.

As a female who read all the books, was 11-15 when this film series out, and unironically enjoyed all the movies back in the day, I can say I am absolutely dying of laughter at your reactions. It really is such an odd situation to have been obsessed with these movies when I was younger just to grow up and realize how terrible and ridiculous they are. But I still get throughout enjoyment watching them just for a good laugh. Oh and fun fact, Robert Pattinson actually hates Twilight and says some pretty snarky things about the movies😂

was always loving the dads more even as a teenager and rewatching as an adult we all have to admit charlie and carlisle were by far the best characters in these movies (with alice of course) so i never really was team edward or jacob, i did annoy my friends by telling them i was team carlisle 😌

I just had my wisdom teeth removed and my cheeks are in pain from laughing at your reactions! 😂 I hadn’t watched Twilight in YEARS (in theaters) until the internet and Young Gen Z rediscovered it back in 2021-ish. I cringed hard at the acting and script 🤣 but I ended up binging it because 1) nostalgia and 2) the plot line is intense with the last 2 movies. Can’t wait for the rest of the reactions!!!

In my opinion, the movies aren’t terrible but not the best either. They are very different from what happens in the books but I do love the books. I grew up on this saga and I remember how much I loved it so the movies bring back a lot of good memories for me. Watching it now that I’m older is way different than when I was 8.😂 Now that I’m older some parts really make me cringe but I still like the movies. I did like the cast they chose for the roles. I liked their outfits and their makeup EXCEPT for in some shots with the vampires you can see the ring of makeup not blending or matching their neck and as someone who loves makeup it drives me crazy 😂 there’s also a few times where their face is wayyyyyyyyy too pale. Some people didn’t like Kristen Stewart for Bella, but learning more of her personality, she fit Bella’s character pretty well. Some of their facial expressions in this movie does make me cringe 😂And yes that is Rosita from the walking dead I never noticed it till I rewatched the series a few months ago 😂 A lot of people fall under Edwards spell because of his beauty, in the book Bella describes it as looking at a “Greek god”. After their vampire transition, they become more attractive to lure in their prey, so vampires usually choose people they think are attractive when looking to create more vampires. In the saga they are predators so they have an alluring charm to them. I do agree that a few of the running scenes are terrible 😂but not all of them. I don’t like the script very much, I wish it was more similar to the books. There are some lines but I wish there were more. Venom coats the vampires teeth so when someone gets bit they start to change unless the vampires drains their blood and kills them. I do remember being into the love story when I was young because I always wanted that myself. Ive loved supernatural type stories and I actually write them myself. Also the soundtrack is 👌🏽I enjoyed watching this reaction series and I’m excited to see what else you react to.😊

I still have a love/hate with these movies/books. 😂 If they didn't cut so much of the more interesting details from the books, the movies could've been less cheesy. K, a bit more watchable. Aside from the super awkward you get dramatically weird, creepy and down right abusive relationships...but considering Twilight is effectively a 50 shades of grey fanfic with vampires and werewolves written for teens I guess that's on brand. "Ok dream sequence, it's gotta be right?" - ..nope, he just straight up watchers her sleep...from inside her own room..and that isn't even the creepiest thing for this series. "If a girl is watching this is 2022, RED FLAG" - this is Red Flag the series.

A friend (girl) dragged me to the first one as a joke as part of a group of about 8 of us. It was cheesy but it became a tradition to go see the latest one when it released in theaters and then when we went to different colleges, we still got together for the summer releases of the rest and now it’s a nice, wholesome memory! 😊

I was team Edward as a teenager and as an adult rewatching I am 200,000% more team Edward. It won’t make sense for a few movies though. Edward is so selfless in comparison to Jacob, it’s hard as an adult to imagine how anyone could be Team Jacob.

@@cherryfreckle The relationship in and of itself is definitely problematic, but I always struggle with whether I’d call it toxic, though I can see the case for it. It really just seems incredibly immature and severely lacking in quality communication skills. Like, all of the second movie was a big stain on Edwards reputation, but the rest of the series (unless I’m forgetting something) he’s pretty decent. Jacob and Bella are what really make it a comedy with their teen antics. I rarely roll my eyes at Edwards decisions (aside from the entire second movie which also could have just been solved with any small modicum of communication), but I rarely stop rolling them at Bella and Jacob.

So for someone who read the book (or at least tried to), the reason why Edward reacted that way when Bella came in was because apparently she smells very tempting to him. You can see that at that time his eyes are black because he hadn’t eaten in a while. Once vampires eat they get their color back into their eyes. So he was hungry basically and Bella walked in… hence his reaction 😅👌🏽

This originally was supposed to be a small indie movie with a very small budget (hence the terrible special effects, they literally had no money) - and then it just EXPLODED! I think this 1st one is still the best part, it really has become a cult classic. No. 2 is OK too, but the bigger the budget for the sequels, the more charm it lost to me.
