I had a question I’ll be traveling for the first time from Houston to London from London to Beirut . As soon as I arrive to Beirut airport and go through security check is baggage claim close by ? Or I need to walk a lot and search for baggage claim location, I’m so nervous not knowing where to go to find my luggage please let me know

Beirut Airport is much smaller than Houston or London. So don't expect to walk a lot. If you feel nervous about finding your way, just follow the other passengers. Everybody is going to the passport control. From the passport control you can walk straight to luggage claim and through customs to the arrival hall. So it's pretty much walking in a straight line.

Dim Mih ok thank you so it’s close to passport control? I think my cousin inlaw told me baggage claim is to the left side not far at all from passport check is that correct. It’s so nerve racking then with 4 kids I just hoping it’s right close to it. So I just read where it says baggage claim and I follow the arrow when I leave passport check area? I’m sorry I have anxiety so I get nervous for anything

Yes, just follow the signs and you should be OK. Yes, it's not a lot of walking.

Is baggage claim is sort by airline you travel from or all luggage’s in the same luggage carousel ? Please be specific of where to go and how it looks after I pass through security check , do I I walk straight or make left ?

I guess, you mean luggage claim in Beirut Airport. After the passport control, you walk straight to the luggage hall. There are several carousels with screens. So your flight should appear on one of them. They usually assign one carousel per flight. From the luggage hall, you can walk through customs to the arrival hall. I don't think you will have a problem finding your way in Beirut Airport.

Yes, you have to go to the carousel with your flight number.

Since 1998 Beirut has a new airport terminal. Earlier this year, there has been a renovation and a minor expansion but I haven't seen that yet.
