I have one I am working on now to fix tracking glitches which originate in worm gear tightness. You MUST remove the actual tube from the back body by removing the three screws on the back plane where the rear port is. Also remove the focuser knob. Then you have easily pull the tube out from the front leaving the body behind. To remove the body, it is best to open up the bottom and loosen the screws that hold the fork arms so they can be pulled back after removing the 4 back body screws from the cradle arms. Otherwise you must REALLY pull on the plastic to get the back body away from the cradle arms.

Great job! Hopefully I will never need this knowledge because it looks like a painful process. I was able to easily fix a broken RA drive brace on my etx125 and it's working good now.
