Mate always delivering at the best times, I'm just starting my meal prep plan trying to get really serious in training.

That is great to hear. Use the quick 100g approach and it's far easier to build around where you are short

@@LairdRoss I'll take that onboard. I think I need to take a low fat approach to as I have above average cholesterol which is alarming to me.

Fellow raisin bread and milk enjoyer, those two items alone have helped me get closer to my goals than any other foods.

Yeah they make a big difference. Easy calories

Lovely wholesome foods to get big on. That creamy chicken dish is definitely the way to go, my favourite kind of meal to have on hand. Thanks for sharing.

What is that beef cut, and how do you go about prepping it in a slow cooker? Anything special, or just beef stock and cook until it's done?
@LairdRoss3 ай бұрын
Depends on the meal mate but slow cooker is always good. Can add a lot to it

@@LairdRoss I'm not asking on depends, I am asking what that specific one was in the video that you had? Thanx
@LairdRoss3 ай бұрын
@Raduldo had to have a look. The one that was in the chopping board was corned beef done in the slow cooker.

Coles and Woolies have been pretty expensive for some time. Everyone is at Aldis.
@LairdRoss3 ай бұрын
Yeah I am mostly at Aldi. I have to got to Coles or Woolworths to get the high protein milk. Then I also walk past a few sections and see if anything is half price

Hey man, I've been getting into powerlifting, I'm 176cm and at 86kgs. I've been eating around 2000-2500 calories a day. Anyway, I started getting dizzy a lot. Turns out my cholesterol and liver function is way out of line. I got grade 2 fatty liver, do you have any advice if you have gone through something similar..?
@LairdRoss3 ай бұрын
I haven't had any of those sorts of issues. Were you a big drinker or did you use to eat a lot of fast food and sugar?
@crowleypage84533 ай бұрын
@@LairdRoss I eat a lot of rice and indian/ nepali food and cheese. But nothing deep fried as such, don't like anything sweet. I don't drink much either, unless it's something social. I usually fast for 6-8 hours and lift 3 times a week. I'm around 14-16% body fat... I used to drink smoke a lot and eat whatever I found but that was about 3 years ago, I've been taking care of myself since. So idk.. why all of a sudden my blood pressure and everything just started acting up

I follow 5x5 stronglifts..and I don't do any cardio.. anyway, just wanted to know if you've faced something similar, thanks for responding!

It may have been a lot worse previously and then started to come good. Just go on a very strict diet / slight cut because when you diet down, it's the liver that cleans up first. Also have a check for diabetes - the liver maybe trying to bring elevated blood sugar levels down if your body isn't doing what it should.
@crowleypage84533 ай бұрын
@@LairdRoss yeah, thanks. I'll try it.

Yeah sometimes, or I may just use 1 if I am cooking a big batch and add my own stuff - reduction is sugar that way
