One of my favorite things about your videos is how you give other options and basically say "you do you!" Loved this meal prep!!

YES!! We are all built so different and what works for one may not work for another. It's so important to just find what works for each of us and run with it!! :)

That's soooo great!!! I have never been one to say spinach is a favorite, but I know it's one of the top superfoods for health and nutrition, so I try to eat it as much as I can. I'm so happy you're trying new things!!! 😊😊

Hi Kristi....can you do more slow cooker recipes. I have an instapot; however, it is in my storage unit.(buried).LOL I am transplanted from Orlando to Asheville for a while. Being a Southern girl, I MISS MY GRITS! I did see you have a biscuit/gravy recipe. Yahoo! The reason I asked about some crockpot recipes is because I am pooped when I get home so I find myself grabbing anything until dinner is done. We call it supper in the mountains. LOL Thank you for your help. I absolutely love your channel!

Can I ask you I see on some of your videos you have a huge notebook with all the recipes in it. I’m curious as to where you get them all. It’s such a great idea to have all recipes in a book. Love it. Thank You for doing all this work for these videos. Just love them. Maybe in a video you can show us how your book was put together.

Hi Joanne! Thanks so much for your kind words! And yes, I have a video showing how I do my binder and also a meal planning video. If you go into the description box of this video, there's a section that says something like "other videos you may like" - it's right in there. One is recipe binder video and the other is meal planning video. 😊

We have the same Uncle Ben`s Rice packages here in Germany. And here one serving size is 1/2 of the pouch.
@PlanningUsHealthy
@PlanningUsHealthy 2 жыл бұрын
Hello all the way in Germany!!! 🤗 Yeah, when I saw that, I thought it was strange. I think they just changed it recently. I did learn that the serving sizes are not necessarily a "suggested" size. I always used to think that was the suggested amount to eat. It's interesting to learn about the labels! LOL

These recipes sound wonderful. I will be trying them for my supper meals. I love your videos. Please share some of your tips for avoiding refined carbs for night snacks. Thank you Kristi.
@PlanningUsHealthy
@PlanningUsHealthy 2 жыл бұрын
Thanks so much, Mary!! I think I could probably do a whole video on that!! LOL It can be a challenge for me, especially because my husband is a carb junkie at night. I find that if I drink my water all day and keep filling up on healthy fats and protein, I tend not to snack so much on refined carbs at night. But if I have one of those days where I didn't plan my day and just kind of pick during the day, I end up eating the refined carbs at night. Plus I find if I pre-track my day, that helps as well.

I just got my food containers when you put fruit or vegetables do you add water at the bottom ty everything as always looks delicious
@PlanningUsHealthy
@PlanningUsHealthy 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Rose! If I use the small one I will sometimes put water in it for my carrots or celery, but you have to make sure that seal on the bottom is a tight one (or use the one with no seal at the bottom), otherwise it will leak in your fridge. But typically I don't use water in them. You can use the them as a strainer to wash everything which makes it nice too.

What store did you find tomato pesto and what section? All I could find was basil pesto which I’m sure would taste good; but I want something new.
@PlanningUsHealthy
@PlanningUsHealthy 2 жыл бұрын
I want to say I got that at my Aldi, but I'm pretty sure I've seen it at my Walmart too. It should be right there with the basil pesto.

When you first started and you got a craving what did you do
@PlanningUsHealthy
@PlanningUsHealthy 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Shirley! I really tried not to restrict myself or not allow myself to have things. If I had a craving, I would use a high day or my weeklies. And if I had days that I went way over, I tried not to worry about it and just got back at it the next day. :)

Could I use basil pesto instead of the tomato pesto? If so how much?
@PlanningUsHealthy
@PlanningUsHealthy 2 жыл бұрын
Yes, you definitely could use basil pesto. I would say use the same amount as of the tomato. But sometimes the basil can be really strong, so you may want to start with less and add more to taste. ;)
