Made taco bake. Hubby and I are gonna have for dinner with a side of squash and use leftovers for lunches. I tasted it-- so good! Made With Ground turkey. Just used spray, no oil. For cheese, I have light mozzarella. Just using what I have!

Just to clarify, the taco pasta is 6 points on blue, not 5. I said 6 but it was typed out as 5 on the video. It's correct in the recipe section of the description box. :) PROCESSED CHEESE ALERT! Velveeta cheese is one of the things I've not given up yet as I transition to my healthier way of eating! However, you could definitely replace the Velveeta with any type of natural cheese, or don't even use any cheese at all for the taco pasta!

Thank you so much, Rena!! I'm so happy you're enjoying my videos! I’m with the hubby. I have the gene that makes Cilantro taste like soap. Bleh!! Lol

🤣🤣🤣🤣 There was a part that he walked in and could smell the cilantro and made a disgusting grunt! I meant to add that to the bloopers and forgot.

@@PlanningUsHealthy ha ha ha!!! My husband has the same issue as I do. It’s funny because it smells delicious! I have to be honest I’ve tried it on multiple occasions just to see. Nope reminds me of gold dial soap each and every time.

I’m super curious how the hamburger cooks in that soup. I’ve always wondered why you have to pre-cook it if it cooks for eight hours?
@PlanningUsHealthy3 жыл бұрын
I'll be making that one tomorrow so I'll let you know. I'm with you! Whenever I've come across recipes with ground beef slow cooker recipes, they always say brown beef first, but you're right - why?? Stay tuned....

Delicious!!! It cooked up so nice..wasnt all dried out!! I may try that in other recipes. I wonder if it's something to do with there being a lot of water in it. I can't imagine doing that with something with not a lot of liquid.

Barely stick a straw in the corner of ziploc bag to get air tight.

I'm always so afraid I'll get a mouthful of liquid from it!! 🤣🤣
@jadez573 жыл бұрын
@@PlanningUsHealthy you won’t. This is what I do & always works like a charm. My son showed me how. Do it while you still have it standing up in the holder. Once all the air is sucked out, then you can flatten it out.😀

@@jadez57 okay, I'm giving it a try next time! 😀

@@PlanningUsHealthy 👍🏻 just don’t suck too hard. It’s a straw in a little part of the bag left unzipped enough room for the straw, then pinch the bottom of straw once u get it airtight. Put straw barely in enough to get the air out...pinch bottom of straw & zip. Hope I’m making sense?😂
