He hated the fact of having to eat so much. Doubt he'll ever compete again.
@bobdole72928 жыл бұрын
Paleo bro it's bad info. Numerous studies have shown there is no difference in weight loss between people who eat the same amount of calories with 1-2 feedings vs many smaller feedings. It's bunk. Bro science. The metabolism isn't like a fire. Continually adding fuel to it doesn't make it burn hotter. Very old myth, now discredited by science,
@wrath6468 жыл бұрын
you say that but you don't provide us with evidence? dude, all the pros through the years proved it works.
@bobdole72928 жыл бұрын
Paleo bro neither did he, and you ate his advice right up, hypocrite. The pros eating in such a way and attaining a certain look isn't proof that their diet is facilitating fat loss. Correlation isn't causation. jissn.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/1550-2783-8-4 "Taking all of this into account, it appears from the existing (albeit limited) body of research that increased meal frequency may not play a significant role in weight loss/gain when under-reporting, restrained eating, and exercise are accounted for in the statistical analyses. Furthermore, most, but not all of the existing research, fails to support the effectiveness of increased meal frequency on the thermic effect of food, resting metabolic rate, and total energy expenditure." Not that you even need research to see that his advice is ridiculous. "You need to force feed yourself. Feed every 2-3 hours. It gets your metabolism going like a furnace." Lauding multiple feedings by virtue of its capacity to stimulate the metabolism is silly in light of his previous statements about force feeding. You need to eat when you don't want to so that your metabolism speeds up and you burn more fat. How about simply eating less food? Like, when you don't feel like eating, as he mentions he often doesn't? Circular logic is circular
@smsmagic898 жыл бұрын
bob dole Actually your metabolism is linked to your eating pattern and amount of energy your body uses through daily activities. Your body also processes smaller meals faster than large meals. Allowing your body to uptake what it needs in a more efficient way. Lastly, it's easier to eat 5,000 calories over 5 meals than it is to eat it in 1 to 2 meals.

Great advise but dude i cant agree with you on skipping the veggies, i eat a ton of raw veggies in all my meals. Yes cooking it destroys alot of nutrients but there are some great raw veggies like Cauliflower
@kevod096 жыл бұрын
StyrbjornStarke cooking vegtables correctly opens up the cell walls in the ingredient and activates the anti oxidant compounds in them ready for absorbtion. eating raw sounds super super healthy and maybe it is in a way to a certain extent but usually the stomach digestion does not do the same as cooking them and just passes right through you with out all the benefits.
