You can easily grow parsley in a big pot just outside your back door. It survives the winter no bother too.

Hi Cheryl, You asked a question about turnips. What you call a Swede we call it a Rutabega. Our turnips here are very white flesh with a purple crown. We don’t see much Rutabega’s here except during the holidays maybe, some stores do carry turnips which we would use in a soup, never mashed. Funny that you have them all year and mashed, us never. The haggis, neaps and tatties is very reminiscent of the M&S one person ready meal version. Same layering and shape. I'm sure that your home made version beats the M&S one on taste though.

I always make pizza at home. I have been doing it for the past few years and haven't bought a takeaway pizza since. I love.the fact that you can put whatever you want on it. Also, my little boy (who has ASD and doesn't eat a lot of things) loves cheese pizza and he tells me that mine is the best.

I roast my sprouts with unpeeled cloves of garlic for about 25min, yummy - oh its late October I will better start to cook the sprouts for Xmas any time soon. 😂🎄

I love pineapple and ham as well hubby not so keen on pizza and the ones you get anywhere are too big just for me, I like the idea of the pizza on a roll it means I can just take what I want and freeze the rest thanks for that 💕

If you mix the parsley with the lightest bit of olive oil it will br freezable for 6 months. Basil with a good bit of oil two years. Press all the air out.

Evening Cheryl. Yes I also use the puff pastry trick of just cutting out tops and put in the oven. It just means that a plain casserole goes up a notch. Loved all your meals this week but not the "wee balls of doom" no no no 😩
