I had been watching your channel for a month or so but hadn’t really taken a moment to read your channel name (🙂) and when you used to say Mr.What’s For Tea, I imagined your last name was an ancient and quite exotic Scottish name like Wyotsfortie. So, gammon is what we Americans would call "Virginia ham". As for soup, it'll be in the high 90s thru Sept/ beginning of Oct so I won't make any soup until then. Love, love, love your meals. Made my meals of the week and the list, I hope I can actually stick to it lol

I have not heard of 'red' but every time I have been in Ireland they have served white pudding which I prefer as it is milder than black.

i love the soup cups. my mom had a set exactly like them. chicken noodle, mushroom, potato and i think clam chowder (its been about 35 years). she even had the "matching" pie pans. made of similar material and with the recipe on it. apple, peach, pumpkin and strawberry rhubarb. i didn't realize.they were still around and all the over there. we were in southern Kansas.

Years ago, as I traveled 'round the North with my friend's son, he left me in Fort William for lunch while he visited the site. I went to a chippy. Funny, I've never, there nor in all my trips to Ireland, had anyone ask if I wanted curry sauce for the chips

My dad served at RAF Lossimouth. I was only 3 or 4 yrs old. That's my only claim to fame LOL I absolutely love that guest house, just our cup of tea! Will definitely be checking it out. How can you only have a cheeky glass of wine? A cheeky bottle sounds good to me!! 😂😂

Ah yes, old style holidays. My parents always booked the same two weeks in August, always the same place, Butlins Heads Of Ayr. Always with gran, aunt and uncle in tow. We were always in Wallace House. They rarely, if ever, went off site as they always went full board and every entertainment need was catered for. Your Lossiemouth accommodation looked really interesting. The menu this week looked good as always. I occasionally enjoy a meal out with my eldest son. I really do appreciate a plate of food I haven't had to cook. 😁
