12:45 Buffalo Beetle most likely... Very good for clean-up crew, but having them mixed with mealworms would kinda suck because it'd be pretty hard to tell the difference in worms until pupation!

That's the thing i love about mealworms. If you forget them for a few months, but have a lot of food in there, they don't care. Also when I used to do it big time (now just a bucket of them I keep in a cabinet under my fish tank) I got giant sacks of animal feed grade oat bran they'd eat up.

You will be better off separating your mealworms, pupea, and your darkling beetles all in different tubs. You will produce a lot more. Cos your beetles will be eating your pupea and your worms.

Yes, as a watersours. But it will not last long. More mess then it is worth.

I use Oats and/or Chick starter crumbles (non-medicated)!!!

Frass has the same consistency as sand (it's Mealworm poop)

Wash the mealworms themselfs BCUS it will reduce the mite population by 10%
