New student Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) is welcomed into the top of the social food chain by the elite group of popular girls called “The Plastics,” ruled by the conniving queen bee Regina George (Reneé Rapp) and her minions Gretchen (Bebe Wood) and Karen (Avantika). However, when Cady makes the major misstep of falling for Regina’s ex-boyfriend Aaron Samuels (Christopher Briney), she finds herself prey in Regina’s crosshairs. @@steph.a91well I mean the original mean girls is pg13 so if they are basing it off of the fact that the 13 year olds of 2004 will now be around 32 so in retrospect they are right the original mean girls fans form 2004 will most likely have kids of their own watching this since most 32 year olds tend to be settled down in a family now

I watched the movie yesterday, it was really fun. I was such a huge fan of the original when it came out and I love the OST of the musical, so I was really excited for this and still exceeded my expectations. By no means it's perfect, ofc but it was fun, I do recommend.

In another movie, a similar Regina George type character can be whatever but this is Mean Girls wherein the premise is she is perfect and skinny so they made her eat those bars to fool her and even rewire her weighing scale so she wont find out she is gaining weight. The movie and characters are iconic just like let's say Superman. You won't cast a fat Superman right? And remember Regina George is flawless..not average
