@@bwenluck9812 so most male bovines are castrated at 4-6 months old before they hit full puberty as it effects the meat quality and then around 2 years old the steers (fixed males) are sold for human consumption meat. Competing in the rodeo actually extends the life of these animals by 5-10 years, longer if they are used for breeding purposes. And these bulls were not looking for “freedom” so much as the instinct of their species is to eat or reproduce so they are looking a nice patch of grass or a cow. Lastly, sick animals can’t do the things they need them to do for a rodeo; these animals are generally treated well, they maintain healthy weights and get vet care regularly as some are worth tens of thousands of dollars.

Oh Tupperware. How well I remember you. All of my childhood in the 1970s was spent dodging your tea glasses with the white rim that I dodged every day from my Father. Never did one break. In fact, after his passing a decade ago, and my Mother 2, I've inherited the entire collection. You made a product that lasts, and America has changed, to every product you buy today is designed to fail, then sold at a reduced price so you can't help but buy the first one. Getting US in the disposable cycle of buying. Your era will be missed the short while the few of US left still take breath. ❤

I watched a TV program about King Gillette, who, with a partner, invented disposable razor blades. When he first started out, he was a door-to-door salesman and failed miserably. A fellow salesman advised him to come up with something that customers would use that was disposable and needed to be replaced on a regular basis. This man said anyone who did this would be rich. The problem with Tupperware is that it lasts a long time. Thus, once someone buys it, they don’t need to buy it again. A bunch of money is made at the beginning but there are few repeat customers.
