Really interesting. I never knew about this until I saw the video shoeing on Formahoof. How is it on the soles? Does it put pressure on the sole or Not? It sounds really good.

Check out the other videos with Formahoof. No sole pressure but there is a frog spot on it.

I am concerned that going over 5-6 weeks without a trim causes his foot to run forward and more pressure on the heel once again. Keeping the toe short is going to help the hoof stay under the leg column.

Are these Formahoofs only capable of being used for medical use or can they be used for trail rides and competitions too? Also are these available in the USA

What a waste! The Formahoof is so weak that it immediately starts wearing through and still needs a steel shoe to make it work. Not to mention that the supplies for the Formahoof are EXPENSIVE. For something so outrageously expensive, it should be better quality. It should hold up for a full 6 week cycle. Having to apply a steel shoe on top of an already pricey application of Formahoof is a massive product failure for the Formahoof. Formahoof is basically a gimmick.
