This song has a special meaning for me, and is by far one my favourites. I also like the partial cover that Mark Campbell recorded for the final scene of Drive Angry, just before the credits roll (though he only did a cover if the first verse.) .

While I agree and this is 1 of my favourite Meat songs (some very personal reasons), if there was a tribute concert or anything similar I doubt this would be included in the programme. Its not one of his more instantly recognisable such as B.O.O.H, Paradise by the Dashboard Light, I'd Do Anything For Love,etc. This wasn't a widely played track from Bat 3, so people recognising it as being Meat's is reduced, Though if Mark Campbell did a full cover rather than just the 1st verse it might happen.

I saw his concert in Montreal, Canada in August 2007 and he used this song to accompany a video of his concert and movie accomplishmets, while he took a break, about half way through the concert. There was some great footage. It is a great song and, to my knowledge, he has not played it live. I would have loved to see it performed live though.

Another good one is" all the lonely people "by America .. what got me through my depression was the line " don't give up till you've drunk from the silver cup " it means don't give up untill you are dead ...i was 25 when i thought i saw no way to get out of the situation i was in , after realizing what the line in the song ment my depression completely cleared up , I'm 68 now have never had another depression like that again ....

This song reminds of what kind of life that I have had so far. I am 47 and I have had 3 accidents that could have killed me. I almost died in 2012 when I wrecked my harley and broke my right ankle. I had to have a rod put in from the knee down. The other one is when I totaled my friend's car and broke my left knee cap. I thought for sure that I was dead or was going to be there shortly but I am still alive and that is why I love this song. It sort of talks about going to hell and back which is what it seemed to me!!
