He was a true musician and his talent was awesome. From his singing to his acting. I'd watch a movie not knowing he was in it until he's up on the big screen, I knew at that point the movie was going to be a good one. Thank you buddy, may your body rest in peace, while your energy lives on an not dead. You are up on the next level of life. I hope I get to see you up there singing or acting. I pray your family that you left behind is doing well with you gone away from them. Prayers do work, for those people who don't know that. We can pray to him, an he will hear us. Keep all the love in your hearts an tell those people you love how much they do mean to you and how much love you have for them. It's nice knowing that from our family and friends.

Aspen was almost half the age of Patti Russo at this time Aspen is in her 20's. Meat Loaf fans were all older so they liked Patti better they grew up watching her. Now I see posts in these comments by younger generation that notice the younger Aspen which is understandable. It's all strange because this all happened years ago even Aspen is 49 years old an retired from professional singing. KZbin can create entire new fan base they are watching someone from the past no longer exists. It's like I was watching 1977 Skinnered Sweet Home Alabama live show the quality was good pan the fans being a man some hot girls catch my eye. I think about it for a minute those girls probably in their early 70's don't look anything like they did in 1977.

I love the pajamas. And those who say it is creepy that he is old and the girl is young, to them I say, he is singing and dramatizing being a young boy, which is something we know as we watch it. [ edit ~~>And some one else said she is 31 which is not 13] Old performers who love what they do and bask in the glow of the audience's love will always touch our hearts. The emotional tones have to be in a performance. I think the Steinman words and the over the top Meatloaf performance ( if you think about it ) just seems like it should not work but it does work so well. Meatloaf should granted the gift of aging in reverse or having never aged.

IMO the “new” female actress/singer Meatloaf added to this show, (Aspen Miller) to feature in Dashboard lights, didn’t do the music or the show, proper justice. All I got from her ‘acting’ during the song, (sing acting is a big part of a Rock Opera) is that she was trying to portray her character as trashy & overbearing. Her strutting around in a typical strippers type walk, doesn’t at all fit with this song or her character in this song. It’s most likely due to her young age, and the fact she doesn’t really understand what Steinman was trying to say when he wrote this arrangement for Meatloaf. The best portrayal of this musical piece is of course the original, with Meatloaf & Karla Devito. (Devito actually lip syncs to Ellen Foleys vocals on stage) …. But clearly, Foley and Devito understood what the piece was about, and did the acting accordingly. As where Miller seems to have “modernized” it into an image that instead portrays a sexually promiscuous female, while the song itself says quite the opposite about the female character. Just 2 cents worth, not that it makes a bit of difference, seeing how it’s all water over the dam at this point.

Steinman never wanted meatloaf to sing “it’s all coming back to me” which he saw as a woman’s song. He had to go to court to stop meatloaf recording it
