Oh how this brings back memories. I was at that gig - or one of the nights he did that week. The intro before he came on stage had the audience in a complete frenzy. Let the Revels begin I think. I remember Rory Dodd and Eric Troyer and others were back up signers. There was a huge leather and chains biker in front of me bouncing in his chair like a 3 year old. And at the end of Bat he turned to his mate and said "I can die happy now". My first exposure to Meat live. Have seen him maybe 15 times since around the world. In his heyday there simply was no better vocalist or live performer.

My uncle had this tape but it got chewed up. I got it and forgot all about it. Didn’t see it when I sorted my prerecorded tapes out 6 mths ago. Might download it from here again.

I saw one of the Wembley shows in April 1982 & was severely disappointed. The acoustics were poor (as usual at Wembley Arena) but he couldn't really sing. Apparently he lost his voice in 1979 & he definitely hadn't recovered it.

This is actually 1982 in Wembley Arena. There is a VHS of this concert released 1985 and 1991. The concert was May 1982. Not 1981.
