These guys really went above and beyond to spare this bears life here. Took a lot of balls not to shoot her when she was so close and charging. They were in no danger, during 4-5 seconds, they would shoot it like 10 times, and if it would success to approach, it could jump only on one of them, the another one would have clear shots from like 3 meters, right in the head, it would be dead in second. The guys are experienced, so the one who would be attacked, would lie on the ground, and cover his head and neck... bear cannot kill you in 2 seconds, when you are lying on the ground, and covering your neck. On the internet, there is video about leopard, that jumped on 2 guys, they hit him several times, but it was fast, like in 3 seconds, it was on them, but as long, as it jumped at the one, it stoped to move, going to bite him in the neck, but other guy has of course clear shot... he just aim at the head, and leopard was dead. Though much deadlier, and faster killer, hurted the guy, but nothing close to dead... the bear would have no chance to kill two experienced guys with rifles. On internet, there is a footage of "bear man" killed by bear, only audio tape, it took the large bear to kill him more than minute. During that time, you would kill the bear even with glock.

C.R. Whitlock *WARNING: OBJECTS MAY BE CLOSER THAN THEY APPEAR ON CAMERA! I know it looked like she was farther away but she was at top speed, approx 25mph or 35fps. She'd have been on them closer to about 1.5 seconds in my opinion. I think the tracker was firing a warning shot and counting on giggles to make the kill shot. Look that shit up. Bears are FAST and she wasn't any farther than 20 or 30 yards MAX! In a parallel universe that mom got shot but not before killing these two and watching her babies feed on their bodies while she withered out of existence. In another parallel universe society is very utilitarian and not PC. They killed the charging mother and her cubs. Mom for the meat and because she threatened their lives. And the cubs because the meat again, utilitarians remember. And we all know, orphan bears grow up to be those ass holes bears that are always in the trash, even if you lock the fucking cans!

What does coward or bravery have to do with harvesting a bear? Anyone who eats meat, fish or poultry from a package has the luxury of eating withouting risk or responsibility. Those of us that hunt and eat our food have far greater risk and responsibility to that which we eat. What personal investment do you have to buying your food? Contrary to the elitist anti-kill anything most hunter gatherers understand the responsibility it requires on a ethical & moral level. The above video is a example of exsperiance and those values.
@marius7120008 жыл бұрын
Tye Seeley you are not killing a bear to eat it, you are killing a bear for fun and to get a buzz out of murdering a big and dangerous animal.That is the difference. The bear is an apex predator and normal circumstances would be let be, a human would hunt deer, rabbit, small game and fish and harvest berries, seeds, roots. However there is little "fun" from that compared to the thrill of murdering big animals. That is why it is pathetic.

The thing that a lot of people that don’t grow up hunting in British Columbia don’t realize is this: Fish & Wildlife really have now clue just how many grizzlies are in this province. The safer “estimate” would be to take whatever population that fish & wildlife have and triple it. Honestly and truly.

I want people to rewatch just how fast that bear was going. Even with that guy's quick bolt work after the first shot, that bear would've been on him by the 3rd shot. And that's with them carefully watching the bear and a 2nd guy with a gun as well. You always hear and read people brainstorming all the whats and hows when it comes to that almost mythical scenario of a brown bear barrelling towards you, but it's a lot different to actually see the things in motion.

Ryan is the kinda friend that you need in everywhere from the outdoors to walking through a bad neighborhood. He didn’t hesitate. He didn’t ask questions. He went from calmly calling the bear away to calmly racking a round in and then calmly taking aim and finally calmly shooting at a CHARGING GRIZZLY BEAR. That guy is tough as nails. I’m fully convinced if he ran out of ammo he would have charged at the bear holding his rifle by the barrel like a baseball bat screaming “Hey mom” which would be the last words that sow ever heard.

+Brian J Americans failed to see what;s going on. All of these Vegan movement, Gay marriage, Gun ban, Environment Protection etc. are different tentacles of the same Octopus. These are all part of the massive multi media campaign by Liberals in their agenda to "change the world to become a better place to live" They will not stop until everything is achieved. If you Americans continue to refuse to learn the lessons in UK, France, Spain etc. and fight individually rather than collectively then you will loss to the liberals. Someday you won't be able to license an Air gun higher than a .177 just like in UK. When Gay Marriage was forced on by the court system you the pro gun people didn't give a damn because you have no problem with gays and your issue is not connected. What you don't realize is that the liberals just got empowered by another hundred folds. Next stop will be your guns. That's for sure. Same pattern in many countries. And still no one gives a damn until it's too late.

I love the stock response by tree hugging irrational animal worshipers..."psychopaths" "gutless" "cowards". They could have shot the bear in self defense, but did everything they could to save her life, which they ended up saving. They and the bears win, but you're all so mad they didn't kill it, you have to pretend they did or something. None of you would have had the guts to solve the situation like they did.
@AKAthatoneguy10 жыл бұрын
How did they "save her life"? If they hadn't been there in her habitat in the first place, the situation wouldn't have happened. Your response is no more original than the comments you're referring to. I have no problem with hunting in general, but saying they "saved her life" is fucking retarded.
@BryanMatias10 жыл бұрын

@alexanderleeart10 жыл бұрын
AKAthatoneguy How is it "her habitat?" How can she lay any more claim to it than any other living being, including humans?
@HondoTrailside10 жыл бұрын
AKAthatoneguy If you take the video at face value they did pretty much everything right. Of course 10 bears might have been killed making the video, but this video looks reasonably transparent. They noticed they were in an area with a mother bear and cubs. They didn't draw her in, but when they judged she was just as likely to freak if she was surprised up close, they started talking to let her know they were there. She charges, they made a lot of noise. Nobody was killed or injured. Bears don't always turn at the noise alone. But at that distance they would not have been in the right to shoot the bear unless they had a license, which presumably they did not with small bears in the picture it would be wrong anyway. Crossing 10 yards is more legal shooting, if it is legal to shoot them at all where they were. A stopping shot is very specific on a large animal, you need to hit a fairly small moving target. Which is why pros tend to wait until the animal is almost on them. So no, they didn't save her life from a burning building, but I don't seem much wrong with what they did depending on local laws.
@AKAthatoneguy10 жыл бұрын
I didn't say they did anything wrong, either. I just said it's ridiculous to say they saved the bears life when the situation was of their own creation and they were in its habitat to begin with.
