Somthing about being happy simply from observing nature seems really pure and wholesome. Maybe it's because your getting nothing material in return. Or because it's an example of living in the moment and appreciating the simple aspects of life.

Absolutely intense. Well handled by the crew. Steve has a great story about a near-deadly encounter with a male coastal brown bear when he was on Rogan's podcast. That stretch of nature through British Columbia and Alaska is wonderful. It even surprises nature enthusiasts from other parts of the globe when they visit, as they have all been (misinformed) about North America being an industrial, over-harvested wasteland, only to see the most beautiful and untouched stretch of nature anywhere in the world in parts of Canada and Alaska. SIDE NOTE: The Northern Hemisphere in developed parts of the world has more trees today than it did 100 years ago because of zoning laws, relocation efforts by DNR, game preserve entities and hunters, and regulations.

do you think they ever will?
@danielzdanivsky49843 жыл бұрын
@@MichaelJacobi687 They’ll have to eventually, but it will still be a while yet. Reopening it would be a political suicide in today’s climate.The only thing that will change that would be for a few people to get mauled, which is bound to happen sooner or later if we don’t keep their numbers down.

8:45 I'm new here. I was originally thinking: This is set up kind of like TV, even though you seem like a youtuber and gives a way more genuine feeling to it, but TV wouldn't usually put themselves in danger. Then the bear showed up and I am sorry for doubting you.

Captured and collared many grizzly bear in this area. Always carry bear spray. Your rifle will do you no good when it's on top of you. Grizzly bear, in particular, are super skittish animals. A sow with cubs or a fresh kill are the only thing you need to worry about. Make noise and you will be fine.

The bears here in Oregon come running when they hear a gunshot. They had claimed several elk last season that hunters had dropped. They are smarter than the average bear.
