As a chef by trade I did appreciate the duck and the sauce to accompany it. I would recommend starting a cold pan and rendering the fat out first. The duck will release fat and cook in it. It will still be rare and skin crispy but a lot of the fat will be released so will not be as jammy in texture.

A "grinner" I know what a grinner is. It's a possum because they always smile at you right before you run them over, my friend Burton Chainsaw Mills told me that I thought that he had made that up. he lived in that area. I live in Wisconsin too. It's one of the most beautiful areas ever. Joe Rogan and you guys, that's quite a match. This really is becoming one of my favorite videos about hunting good job, Steve.

Being a fan of Joe Rogan for a long time I feel it would be more of an honor to hunt with Steven Rinella. Meeting Joe would be an honor too but it's usually a short encounter, hunting with Steve would be a lifetime memory.

This has got to be my favorite Meateater episode! Wisconsin. Joe Rogan ducks bucks and the reality of deer hunting.

Rogan: I don't mind being that guy who wears a sombrero Callen: I look the same as I did last year, isn't that crazy! -Who doesn't have self esteem, you be the judge-

I was wondering if this was dated. If Joe was just acting like an inexperienced hunter for the show, or if it was old footage, given how hardcore of a hunter he is.

Good for Joe getting that feeling of being a newer hunter at an older age. He'll never forget that feeling.

This is less than 2 hours from where I live. This shows exactly how it looks here in southern Minnesota too.
