MEC 650 update

Nimrod reloads some 12 gauge 1 oz shells on the MEC 650 featured in a previous video ( • Nimrod’s Craigslist Fi... ). Thanks for this video. I received one as a gift but it was in need of many parts and repairs. It’s been a work in progress rebuilding it. The angles in this video helped me see how it functions. I still need a few more parts to get it going!

I was planning on selling this one when the components were used up , but I have a feeling it's going to stay in the Lead shed! love to find one in 20 gauge!

I like that press. I use mine often. I resize and prime on a Lee load All II, and then go to town with the MEC. I use Win AA and Rem Gun Club hulls, and they look and shoot like new off this press!

All metal dies, must be a pre 83 manufacture. I went on eBay and replaced the plastic dies on mine which is the newer version.

no the 650 does not resize hulls, I do that on a different press.

Definitely faster but you still need to keep the MEC 600 jr around to resize the hulls. thanks for watching !
