Use the gbox 2 and try different selection in expect mode for the eis type ...the wire schematic may not match the eis you are working on ... but it should work

Use the gbox2. I know w204 is same almost same as w207. But that eis is w207, stick with it

You have the Can high/low in the wrong spot. The yellow goes on top of the green. Bottom right pin is Can Low Above that is can high. With the G box they have the yellow wire listed as the "Can High) line. VVDI diagram has different colors, but I would disregard that since you are clearly using the Autel. I don't think you need the white wire. (The K line) , for any communications, since you already have the can high and the cam low attached. But, maybe the IR key uses that?

k-line I believe is how the ESL communicates.. so if you want to try testing key insert to ESL then you would require the k-line - someone correct me if I am misguided here..

I’ve had this machine for about a years and half. The keys made by dump in general is not good in my opinion. It’s good for lots of obd programming but I’ve only tried it on a couple of Mercedes’ and failed. CGDI is a cheap Mercedes’ tool that’s pretty good but it’s got its limits also. Keep us posted of your jobs.

The EIS you are working on my brother is W207 not W204. It’s written on the EIS itself. I hope that helps fixing the problem 😉

@@BestCarFixes I know that W204 and W207 are very similar but it’s recommended to stick with the actual one (W207) and probably use the Gbox as it helps speed up the password calculation process.. It is worth the try my brother. Please share your experience when you find the issue and fix it so we can all benefit. All thanks to you and the great work you do in your videos 😊

With autel im608 and g box2 I read the possword on the w207 all time. But for the w204 I need to use CG mb. Cgmb make the key for the w204 with not problem.

I have im508xp400pro and gbox2. W906 had missing eis. I connected eis with working key to the car. I made a new key, no problem. But the key doesn't turn the ignition and no steering wheel unlock. How can i make this work with autel? Please help

Autel can erase eis data. You made a mistake as i made. Your password incorect.

Maybe you use password from old eis you gotta read password on new eis then use it to erase​@BestCarFixes

You got use GBOX2 I had good success with Erasing EIS to use on another car with GBOX2 1 get password by doing all keys lost 1 2 2 under smart mode don't use expert mode use Autel key simulator during process then put in password in on screen that ask for Erase password then should be all set.
