Man this is the best laptop porn I’ve seen. . . Other manufacturers really should take notes as this is how laptops should be. Easy to open, easy maintenance, easy upgrades. Even my current laptop is a bit a pain to put the bottom panel back on since you gotta slide it back in at the right angle. Seriously these tong fang machines just impress the heck out of me. 🤔

Tong Fang already start cost cutting. I have an older unit (Tongfang GK5CP0Z) . The bottom panel has metal mesh grill and look more solid than this unit's all plastic mesh grill. Nobody knows whether they will crack in the long term due to exposure to very hot heatsink in close proximity .

Great inclusion on the wifi card details. The AX200s are notoriously bad with failure rate. I've got a handful in my drawer that are bad (including the killer rebrands).

Hi, I stumbled on to this brand while looking at the ASUS Strix Scar 15 and Lenovo Legion 7. How reliable are their laptops? How o they compare with Lenovo and ASUS in build quality and after sales service? Thanks.

Are those m.2 drives for storage at 1:24 can they have two M.2 NVME SSD over that ribbon or can you only have one being used at a time? I have a mech 15G3 as my do all laptop so I’d like to keep the stock SSD drive for my school and work stuff and have a separate SSD for games. I assume I can by what you said in at 1:24 but I just want to be sure I’m still kinda new to laptop and pc gaming

Hey Bob I have a problem I can't figure out why Can you please help me here Hi, I am having some issues with the gpu of my laptop, it (1050 mobile) drops to 231mhz on 5 minutes of usage, I cleaned the fans, and undervolted the cpu, I don't understand what is happening.

@bob of all trades Do you think a repaste will help? What is your opinion on Tongfangs stock thermal paste? Without removing the cooler do you think a Liquid metal repaste is worth it?

liquid metal is not recommended for ryzen which is why they dont offer it when you customize the laptop

The CMOS is about 1" to the left the battery plug. Its red/black wires and white plug are almost touching the memory stick that's closest to the battery.

It is a weird question but intel version of this laptop shows 4 ram slots in cpu-z. I am sure its just a bug but have you tried going under the keyboard to check?

If I recall correctly, there’s two hidden screws, one under foil near the ports at the rear and the other is under black “tape” between the heatsink and fan.
