So I guess what I'm saying is sure if that what your content is going to be about but give yourself some leeway for other stuff as well.

As an Australian, I'm a little disappointed that this shows setting didn't feel like Australia enough. It just felt like a generic American or Mexican desert. It even included outback cities that don't even exist. Like they could have at least mentioned Alice Springs. Or maybe some famous natural landmarks like Katajuta or Kings Canyon or even Ularu. Still, absolutely loved it despite that! And it's just cool to see an anime set in Australia in the first place. I love the show's philosophy of, the better you're Australian accent is, the more evil you are.

The show isn't trying to be scientifically accurate to Australia in all fashions. Why would the show mention famous land marks when that would obviously be irrelevant in all ways. That was Australia in the 2040s which was (and probably will be in real life) a much different era than we as if now in the 2020s so any landmarks in Australia probably don't even exist at that point and haven't existed for years. Be at least glad the show did take place in Australia and in Japan like most anime always do and the fact it mentions some famous Australian cities Sydney being one of them. It even has striker berserker a Australian jaeger and herc hanson a full blown Australian himself

@@Kaiju-bm4ts I know. Just felt like the landscape just looked really generic, like if the show was set in Mexico or Texas I wouldn't really be able to tell the difference. Its just weird that they went to the effort of setting it in Australia but not doing anything with it to make it unique

@@whositsnamewhatsitsname3269 Literally most deserts all look the same. The ones in Australia Literally look no different from the ones in Asia or America or Africa. Like I said Australia has fallen and its been 5 years past that point. There isn't much uniqueness they can do when Australia is basically a no mans land now and is basically equivalent to mad max with it being a wasteland. Wastelands don't have much to offer because there's very little in them to begin with

@@Kaiju-bm4ts as someone whos lived in Australia their entire life and been to the outback. I really have to dispute that they look the same. The Outback is completely free of any cactuses and the soil is all red and even the moon appears orange in the night sky because of all the iron in the soils and in the dust. And yeah sure there weren't any cactuses but other than that it felt really uninspired. But you do make a fair point about the lack of outback cities like Alice Springs, cos it would make sense that the Kaiju would destroy it. And that new fortified cities would be built. Don't get the feeling that I think this is a big flaw or anything, I just think they didn't do enough with the interesting setting they were given. And obviously it's not just a massive sight seeing trip, bit I just felt like saying something that kinda bothered me. Anyways, amazing show and I can't wait for season 2!

I still need to watch this but theirs so many things to watch. I heard this is better than the 2nd movie, yeah I don't think anything will top that first movie, that is a mecha fanboy dream come true, the 2nd film is what you'd expect Hollywood to do, which is trash lol. Hopefully this series puts the franchise back on the right track, nice to see a new video btw.

Halloween ruins everything good (predator, aliens, ect) but luckily this series takes only a specific plot point from the 2nd movie. Besides that I'd say people can skip the 2nd movie and jump into this!

If Hollywood screws up alot then explain why the original pacific rim was so good?. The original was great because of good writers and the director. Uprising failed because of the director and one of the actors and the writers

Does it get better after the first episode? made it about until the point the parents left and was still bored. Normally I can binge any mecha Anime but it was way too stereotypicle for me.

It gets better by episode 1's ending! Cause after what happens at the end I was hooked given what happens to their village! There's some neat stuff that appear in the later episodes and current can't wait for season 2

If you made it to that point then you didn't even watch the entirety of episode 1 or get pass it since the parents only appeared and left in episode one and that was only in the first like 5 or 6 minutes of the episode itself by the time they leave

It has multiple audio options for languages! Although as far as I know the western Netflix only has western languages from checking. Any language which one can watch it in should be fine!
