Very good basic step movement. Very similar to the basic step movement from the old martial art from West Sumatra Indonesia they call it the Silat. This master is very good teacher he knows how to train. Step movement and balance are very basic in martial arts, or other fighting technique. People can be a fighter, or be interesting in the artistic side (the arts) like waikru in Muai Thay or kata in karate in silat they call it kembangan (Indonesia terms) But not every professional martial arts can be a good trainer, but after all, the fighters, the martial art-artists and the gurus are all good martial arts professional. In the late 70's I was told by very old Kung fu guru, there will be never ending learning in the martial arts. Good one Master Saekson, thank you and appreciated your video.

+Suddhatma Mukherjee , suggest do it slow without any tens at all (forget the power) for a while, just try movement relax by looking at the mirror. The more you practice the speed and the power will naturally grow, happy try, and good luck.

Love these videos but his technique on throwing hooks and uppercuts has some flaws in it. You should not bring the arm back before throwing the hook or uppercut. It opens up your defense and choreographs your movement too much giving your opponent more time to react . Other than that these fundamentals taught are crucial for muay thai. Well done!!

Ogdamastakilla Yes I agree you need movement but it’s generated from your hips as I’m sure your well aware. But the arm themselves should not go back then forward when executing a hook or uppercut. It leaves your defense open for that split second. Other than that I love all the content in these videos. These greatly helped when I started muay Thai.

*Some facts about Kru Muay Association* The Kru Muay Association originated from the separation of the amateur Muay Thai from the professional Muay Thai. This division pursued the goal to have Muay Thai recognized as an Olympic discipline by the International Olympic Committee (IOC). A project that has not been successful until today. The officials of professional Muay Thai would like to have nothing to do with Kru Muay. For them this club is only a necessary evil. If you take a closer look, you will notice that all the so-called traditional teachers of the Kru Muay Thai Association have simply appointed each other as teachers and are now worshipped by wealthy foreigners once a year. The whole association is very political, but has less fighting competence than an average boxer in Rajadamnern Stadium or a Buakauw (who is a Cambodian and not a Thai by the way). Despite comprehensive state support, the Kru Muay Association still has no coherent teaching concept for traditional Muay Boran and Muay Thai is still not Olympic.
