Mechanism of escalator

I tried to reproduce the movement of the escalator steps with a 3D printer model.
The driving wheel connected to the axis of the step surface and the following wheel at the bottom of the step move along different rails, so that the step can be moved on horizontal and inclined surfaces while keeping the step horizontal.
・The curve drawn by the side of the step is an arc whose radius is the distance between the two step drive wheel shafts (the depth of the step), allowing for free vertical movement.
・In order to keep the step horizontal, the drive wheels and follow-up rail should be designed so that the base of a right-angled triangle with the drive wheels and follow-up wheels as the oblique sides is always horizontal.
・By adjusting the positional relationship between the two rails, the steps can be maintained diagonally like an auto slope.

裏・・ 裏はどうなっていの? 回転までしてほしい モーターが切れると上に乗っている人の重さで滑り落ちるの? 構造上、エレベーターみたいな安全装置・ガイドレールに落下防止装置みたいなの有るの?

ステップが数珠繫ぎになってるだけで裏側も表側と同じように２対のレールがループして繋がっています。ただステップ面は地面に水平でなくレールに対し水平になっているようです。 駆動系が切れた場合に安全停止する機能が付いているようですが仕組みは知りません。 エスカレーターメーカーのホームベージ等から情報が得られると思いますので一度お調べになってみるのが良いと思います。
