get out and get involved. it helps you to get out there because you are kind of forced too. you have to be the one to keep that going though. just say hi to people you see, and if you see them again, say hi again. Things like that helps. my university has a regional medical school on it, so I noticed that all the students are really outgoing and personable. apart from grades, getting along with people and being approachable is very important.

Dang. MOCA is so classic. Do you get to administer this test yourself or do you just discuss and assess the results, diagnoses, and treatment in your program? It's so easy I have to imagine you get to administer, but some psych units have particular rules about these kinds of things and only let MDs, NPs or some core staff with the "right training" do this. What do you think of the psych specialty?
