there are two books that I have for ekg, that I feel are excellent. One is the book you mention in this video rapid interpretation of the EKG by Dublin, and the second book is The Only EKG Book You'll Ever Need Seventh Edition by Malcolm S. Thaler MD (Author). If you have both of these books, you will definitely rock the ekg world.

Do you have any advice or tips on how to study for Organic chemistry?
@rueloka7 жыл бұрын
Mochi Pops there is a good book "Organic Chemistry" as a second language that's pretty cheap that you can buy on amazon that's pretty great! And also something that really helped me in organic 2 was repeatedly writing the reactions on a white board because there were so many lol
@XxJiazuMiStarZxX7 жыл бұрын
Thanks!
@XxJiazuMiStarZxX7 жыл бұрын
Do you think this book will give me a headstart before taking the class? I'm not due to take it until maybe spring next year.
@rueloka7 жыл бұрын
Mochi Pops yea I definitely do! It's a very easy read and makes things easy to understand. However in my use of the book I also had a professor to introduce the topic. Organic is very difficult for me to explain so I'm not sure how much the book would help if you have no prior knowledge or introduction to organic chemistry. Another great study tip is to make sure you go to all study sessions or reviews if your school offers it. It's lit very difficult it's just a lot. Don't stress it isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. Almost everyone I know actually enjoyed organic better than gen chem! Me and my friends all passed with As! It's just takes a lot of time but if you put in the work you can pass! Also I would check out Kahn academy but I don't think they were very helpful for me in organic

I want to apply to university of Florida medical school but I have a low gpa. Should I still apply?
@thebrittnyway7 жыл бұрын
UFCOM is pretty competitive but the admissions committee has a holistic approach when looking at applicants. Grades and scores are important but they are not everything! I'd say work on improving your GPA and if you can manage it then bulk up your resume with significant service and clinical experience. Hope this helps. Best of luck!

I have always been curious about how do americans do to go to med school and become doctors. I hear the words "pre med" "medical student" "intern" "residents" and it's like so different from where I'm from!
@IwasDiana7 жыл бұрын
Kota Mundaca "Pre-med" track are undergraduate students doing pre-requisites for medical school. "Medical student" are students in medical school which is after your first (undergraduate) degree. "Intern" is after medical school, which is the year before your residency, more like a transitional year. "Residents" have graduated medical school and are now officially training in their chosen field which usually lasts 3-7 years depending on the field you choose.
@kotamundaca33987 жыл бұрын
Thanks for replying! I still have a couple of questions: a pre-med student is someone who goes to "college before college"? and also, residents are like, official doctors? how do you specialize? thanks! hope I'm not too annoying hehe
@thebrittnyway7 жыл бұрын
Pre-med students are college students. After they graduate they go to medical school. Residents are doctors but they are training under a senior physician called an attending.
@kotamundaca33987 жыл бұрын
Thanks for replying Bittny! I love your channel, I'm not even a medical student, I'm a journalist hahaha but I find it so interesting, you're very inspiring!
