I don't think Lebron would get hate for his move to Golden state in this scenario. He got OKC a ring, didn't blow the 3-1 lead and had several final appearances.

I think he'd get some hate since people still didn't like players forming super teams, but it wouldn't be as much hate as KD originally got. But the hate would come as the Warriors dominate with multiple seasons of 70+ wins, including a record-breaking 75-8 season., along with cruising to a 3-peat. Fans of the other 29 teams would blame Lebron for making the league "boring."

I'm kinda surprised it didn't go into overtime with the Nets winning the series and LeBron James tying Kevin Durant with 5 NBA Finals Championships. I don't know who would have gotten their 6th championship first after that but I do think both men would have had better careers had they switched places because LeBron James got a three peat and Kevin Durant ended with six rings which would put him in the GOAT conversation with Michael Jordan. And had LeBron James won with the Brooklyn Nets against Kevin Durant and the Lakers people would argue who's the better player between him and Kobe Bryant.
