Your content is apsolutly fantastic Sir! May I ask, are the principles of making damper for every inline 4 cyls the same? Since no fluid dampers are available for every model of an engine, would it be possible to make similar as Yours, to be fully functional? Use of 40 Shore rubber I would say?

Why don't you guys do these for MPi's considering the OEM part is NLA? And second hand items go for crazy money! I have an MPi turbo and am desperate to replace the standard item.

It's not something we've been asked for before - there isn't much demand for the MPi Mini bits :(

Can you explain to a simple diy mechanic what is the purpose of the damped pulley, and where does the pulse signal go to please?

It helps to reduce harmonics/vibrations in the crankshaft assembly to improve reliability. The crank position sensor is for engine management, so either using distributor-less ignition or fuel injection.

So one damped pulley and two undamped ? what difference would be noticeable between the damped pulley versus the undamped pulley ?
