I'm very excited for this! I've started watching on my own in anticipation, and just in case it slips anyone's mind: episodes 17 and 18 (of the 2010s series) have a whole lot of pretty graphic snake stuff in them, and it shows up pretty suddenly (inside a cave). Those scenes seem pretty skippable without losing the plot, though.

that Punch Drunk Love comparison in the beginning, i never understood PDL as 'what if Adam Sandler movies were more realistic etc' thats a fun way of describing hxh from what i understand of the show. Umm, maybe both subvert expectations. Otherwise, very excited for the show

I'm still only halfway through (and on the second screenshot) but I would not complain if instead of watching Hunter x Hunter, the limited run show is instead streams of deconstructing screenshots without context.
