nice video! I had a provider that noted he did a LV with contrast but then on findings he stated he was not able to cross the aortic valve.. in the search bar ur video came up and I got my answer! aortic valve must be crossed in order to bill a 93458 so i'm billing out a 93454. thanks for the video!!

Your videos are such a valuable resource! I have a hard time with cardiac and vascular procedure coding. Do you have a video with a lot of case studies for CPT? Also anything explaining when to use the HPCS codes for procedures??

I am in the 2020 version of CPT and not sure how the code 93458 correlates to what you explained. It's missing some information so I am sure it's been updated since this video is made. Do you have a different code for the example now?

CPT 93458 (left heart cath with coronary angiograms) has not been changed and is still valid today so I don't know what part that you are still confused?
