@@amybahner6511I agree! I feel that way about stalkers, too. The law "protects" the stalkers while the victims have to be imprisoned in fear for the rest of their lives! The law is way too generous when it comes to stalking. IMO, if you're arrested of stalking, you should not be given a chance to bail out. And there should be a minimum sentence of 5 years without the possibility of parole for first time offenders. If they think they want to keep stalking someone after that, they should get 25 year no parole sentences. If the law was tougher on them, they'd, hopefully, think twice about their behavior.

About 10 years ago I just very suddenly began having explosive diarrhea. I was working all day and just fine. Suddenly, the stomach bent me double. I could barely walk. The pain continued, the diarrhea continued. I was literally on the bathroom floor because I could walk to my bed and back to the bathroom. My mom took me to the emergency room. They gave me pain meds. They released me and before we could pull back into our driveway, I was bent double again. Back to the emergency room we went. Another shot of morphine. I know the doctor thought I was overreacting. Once again, before we could make it home, I was bent double. The doctors kept asking if I was passing any blood. I wasn’t. Then, on another bathroom trip… there was the blood…. Lots of blood…. Nothing but blood. The doctors now knew it was something serious. They admitted me. They had IV drips going and regular morphine. Soon, the morphine wasn’t enough. The doctors ran test after test, but couldn’t find the cause. In the meantime, I was passing nothing but blood throughout the day and night. I was growing so weak that I couldn’t walk. The doctors upped my morphine, but the bloody diarrhea continued. I couldn’t imagine how I could live while passing so much blood. Two days passed and they had put me through every test they had. I remember my 7 year old son coming to visit me and he told me he was having stomach pains, but I just couldn’t believe he could have whatever it was that I had. While visiting me he rushed into the bathroom. I was struggling to get out of bed to go help him. I had unhooked my lines and was hanging onto my bed as I made my way toward him. I was bent double with pain, but I had to get to him. When I finally got to the bathroom, he said,”Mommy, I am sick like you.” I nearly lost it when I saw the blood in the commode. I helped him with his clothing and stood there hugging him. I was so afraid for him. How could a little boy survive this type of illness. We made our way back to my bed. I helped him in and I climbed in beside him and rang for the nurse. The nurse was really mad at me for putting him in my bed. I told her what was happening and she made a hateful remark. From my bed phone I called his pediatrician. Within 30 minutes another nurse had us both in wheelchairs and wheeling us into the emergency room. They put the IV in and gave him morphine to ease the pain and started fluids. The diarrhea was just like mine. The attending doctor was baffled and very concerned. I had been wasting away for 3 days. My doctor was scheduling an exploratory surgery. Now, my little boy presented with the same symptoms. They eventually moved us into a room. It truly was a sad situation. I was so weak that I could barely stand, but I was tending my son. I was helping him to and from the bathroom. We were both passing blood. My son’s blood was a bright red. What was wrong with us. Despite my own pain, my focus was complete on my son. I was terrified. There we were. Both of us in excruciating pain and growing weaker and weaker from blood loss. I called my mother. Within the hour, she and daddy were in our room. Everyone was so afraid. Then the doctor came in with my son’s diagnosis. It was E-coli! E-coli! We couldn’t understand. They had been unable to diagnose me, but now my little boy was sick with the very same thing. I had E-coli and so did my son. My son’s pediatrician wanted to send both of us to the university of Virginia medical hospital. He was so worried for my son. He told us there was NO TREATMENT for E-coli. He explained that this bug was eating the lining out of our stomachs and intestines and it wouldn’t stop until it had completely eaten all of the lining. That was why there was so much pain and so much blood. My heart was breaking to see my little boy in such a painful and life threatening illness. My mother decided to stay with us. I sat beside my son’s bed so that I could help him to and from the bathroom. I knew the pain he was experiencing, but he never cried. He was so brave. All we could do was let the bug run its course and fight for our lives while it ate. There was no treatment. As night fell, I stood on one side of his bed and my mom stood on the other. We began to pray. The doctor had told us it would be days before we would see any change. We just had to stay alive! My mom and I remained in prayer as the hours ticked slowly by. I was begging God for my son’s life. I wasn’t concerned for my own life anymore. I cried and pleaded with God to spare my son. They had brought in one of those chairs that sorta serves as a makeshift bed for my mom. It was a horribly uncomfortable thing, but mom was just as worried for my little boy and sleeping wasn’t really an option, but I encouraged my mom to try to get some sleep. In between running to the bathroom, I would continue praying. I was sobbing as I begged for my son’s life. I don’t remember falling asleep, but somewhere around 4am, I must have drifted off. The next thing, I felt my son’s had in my hair. “Mommy, can I have something to drink?” I was shocked to see that he was sitting up. I quickly got up to take care of him. I asked how he was feeling. He said he had no pain and he had stopped running to the toilet. “I’m hungry mom.” What was this? I felt his forehead and could detect no fever. He told me he wasn’t hurting anymore. I rang for the nurse . She was just as shocked to see him sitting up and asking for breakfast and a drink. It was amazing. He was showing no signs of being I’ll and surprisingly, neither was I. The nurse went to call the doctor who unbeknownst to us, had slept the night in the hospital just to be near my son. He came in and could hardly believe what he was seeing. He checked us both over and against all odds, we seemed to be well! The doctor was truly shocked. He said he had no explanation for what was happening. He did order breakfast for my son and told us he’d be back in a couple of hours. True to hi word, he was soon back in our room checking us. The doctor looked at me and asked, “ What’s going on her, mom?” You both have E-coli and you had the deadliest strain. There is no explanation for why you both now have no symptoms. What did you do? I prayed a mother’s prayer! They kept us two more days just to be sure we were on the mend and then released us. It took me 3 weeks to regain my strength. I had lost so much blood. On the other hand, it was if my son had never been ill at all. God truly had answered my prayers. My son’s doctor told us that he knew my son might die, but he was so full of energy. It was if he had never been sick. God still works miracles. You only need to believe.

If my doctor was sickly looking, I'd pitch a fit. I once saw a food worker complain about being sick and the manager witch at her and I had a fit, I went full Karen and said in no way should they be making food. The manager just wanted them to keep going. The restaurant made the excuse she had diabetes but the lady was sickly and she voiced wanting to go home.
@scootermom1791 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, that's cruel and unusual punishment IMO. If the restaurant cares so much more about money than their employees, then just wait for the lawsuits to start piling in after customers start getting sick from the employees. And if the employee has diabetes, that's almost more concerning. She could have ended up in a hospital...or worse! Stupid company. I used to work in a grocery store as a checker, and there was a day that it was so busy they didn't want to let anyone take a break! We were forced to work through our breaks and lunches! I had to go to the bathroom and couldn't. I desperately needed a drink: I'd gotten so dehydrated! I contacted an attorney afterwards to see if what they were doing was illegal. I was told yes, but it would cost a lot of money to take them to court. So unfortunately I felt like I couldn't do anything about it other than quit, which I eventually did.

@SapphirasMama Жыл бұрын
From watching true crime shows and medical shows (like this one), I often see a poisoner will only go after one person (unless they have a Dr Death complex). In this case it was the husband and not the kids. At the time she showed no harm towards the kids. Yes I know there are cases where mum have killed their kids to get back at the spouse, but in this case that doesn't seem to be the case. While she was away and he was doing his research, there was no signs that the children were in danger until he moved out and she set the house on fire. He has had to live with the fact that he couldn't protect his kids and even though she was becoming unhinged, it was towards him and not the kids.

I had diarrhea, vomiting , couldn’t keep water down I was on the floor curled in a fetal position 10 months later I had a diagnosis after I seen the gasterestronal. It was called h. Palorie. It attacks the stomach can eat the lining of the stomach and cause ulcers. I thought I was going to die. I was on 16 antibiotics per day for 3 weeks. I couldn’t move, I fainted, I lost a ton of weight. Etc. you can get really sick from travelling.
@lgstar3363 Жыл бұрын
Yes but H.P. Isn’t just a traveling disease, u can get it here in US. I say this because my 12 yr old niece was just diagnosed with this and she hasn’t ever even traveled out of the state. The furthest she’s travelled is 2 hrs from one city to another. She lives with her grandmother who by the way is ocd on cleanliness and they very rarely eat out as they can’t afford it. When they do they usually order fast food, such as pizza, burgers, Taco Bell, Starbucks, the usual. Doctors always want to assume one picks up something from other countries but no. Just recently my 72 yr old mother was also diagnosed with this, she also hadn’t traveled recently, lives at home alone and her hobby is to clean her house I’m not exaggerating. Usually illnesses we get are from our surroundings at home.

He was able to diagnose himself because he was the only person who had all the pieces of the puzzle. Not telling the medical people treating him about the pending divorce and later the police about the castor beans he found allowed her twisted mind to keep plotting. When admitting someone to hospital, we usually ask marital status and if a patient feels "safe" in their home. A similar situation happened at the hospital I worked at, a doctor got angry at his fiance and starting poisoning her coffee. Because she was a nurse working in the same department, he was able to slip her doses both at home and at work.

It is an unfortunate reality that when it comes to children, men are treated like second class citizens. If he had taken the children with him it is highly likely she would have called the cops on and gotten him into trouble with the law. It's also likely that she would have killed herself or staged her own death to cause him harm. I'd lay good odds that the kid that made it out was her favorite. The other two were ties to her husband that she wanted dead so they and the house had to go.

After his second trip back home and then his third trip back to the hospital I thought this sounds like a poisoning to me... it's happening right after he eats. But I'm thinking the title of the video mentions it being a virus though so this is weird. but it turns out I was right. But what shocked me the most was the fire that killed two of his children I could not believe that happened. my jaw dropped immediately when I heard that. For her to only get 40 years is a crime itself. there should be no chance that she ever be released back on the street

After decades of spousal poisonings, you'd think hospitals would test for that if a person gets better in a hospital then returns sick after spending time at home. Also, you'd think they wouldn't allow spouses (or anyone) to bring outside food into the hospital for patients. I'm referring to other episodes I've seen where spouses would bring in a "favorite food" to "help" their spouse "get better." Ridiculous!
