He is a one person army that overthrew the hundred year old medical theory. The most respectful of Wim is his enthusiasm to teach the whole world his method to make us happy strong and healthy. The world has been ignoring him as a freakish stunt man. Watch a video interview of him in the 90s. No one at that time realised he had discovered the secret of the human mind. I went through a really rough episode in my life that had me on constant anxiety and fighter flight response. after months of trying to find the cure for it.. meditations, exercise, books, yoga, medication and one day I hear about this method.. In my desperation I went and bought something resembling a tub, did the breathing and jumped into ice water.. by the end of the 3 mins I was about 60 percent better, I became addicted to it because I had found nothing like it.. I did it everyday for a week, extending the timing in cold exposure and I was at 100% in one week. I truly believe in this method because it saved me in the course of days. When I went to my therapist and I told her, she said it had to be the medication which Ive had been taking for 2 months with no effect prior me getting into the ice water. So I understand his frustration also when when people/"experts" dont take his research seriously because it is a threat to the pharma industry.

@@robertsabella if it's been around so long how Come no one in modernity has been able to do what he's done?? Why does he have so many Guinness world records? Why is he the one we are hearing it from? Why's he the one demonstrating it's effectiveness, allowing himself to be tested? If it's so obvious and so ancient, why aren't millions of people doing these things? Why isn't climbing everest wearing nothing but shorts and shoes common place? My friend, knowledge is of small benefit, applied knowledge however can change the world. People may have known these techniques, but wim managed to take them to the limits, and prove that they work (as much as anything can be proved). Many people credited with scientific discoveries were standing on the shoulders of giants. Someone needs to get the credit for bringing it to the world.

@jimalliban9 жыл бұрын
Although it all looks entirely legit I decided to try before purchasing the course. You can find tutorials online and there is a free mini-course on his site. I bought the course after 5 days practice as I was so impressed. If you choose this route just start small - 1 minute cold shower after hot - I jumped right into 5 minute cold showers which were pretty rough. Alternatively there is a 14 day money back guarantee in case you're not satisfied. Here's as explanation of the method: www.entrepreneur.com/article/252104 I'd definitely recommend the video course as there is so much more info.

James Alliban Thank you very much for your answer! I am allready satisfied with Wim Hof and his ideas/ his method. I will buy his course when I can afford it(because I am sure he deserves it), but in the meanwhile I want to get started and practise it. Since a few months I am sick more often and I am freezing pretty easily so I want to fight these with his method. To keep it short: 1. breathing exercise 2. warm shower 3 1-x min cold shower while practicing breathing technique 4. end of shower/finnish Did I get it right?
@jimalliban9 жыл бұрын
No problem. Start with a 1 minute cold shower at the end of your hot shower. You can then intensify the cold exposure each week, eventually dropping the warm part. Don't do the same breathing exercise from step 1 in the shower. Breathe deeply and naturally but without long holds.
@taktl0s9 жыл бұрын
James Alliban always a pleasure to write with friendly people online! With the No. 1 I just wanted to refer to the daily habit of the breathing exercise. A full shower with cold water in the wintertime must be :0 !! capiche! Always stay relaxed while breathing. ;) I think it's a little bit sad that his course is so expensive that not everybody has access to it.

I’m extremely happy I found this video!!! He’s talking about a type of science that I have taught myself and previously considered myself crazy for. I can influence any relaxed nervous system to directly change the psychology, relocate joints, speed/slow, blood flow, and affect hormones as well as other things. I was only 16 when my awareness of the nervous system became subconscious, causing my joints to relocate without needing help from my conscious thoughts. I have spent the last two years mastering these abilities while trying to be a functional member of society, and now I have reached a point where my body is almost perfectly symmetrical and the energy from my body exudes; influencing objects. I feared my ability because when people are around me in relaxed states they become I can significantly alter their bone and mental structure into a genetically better state but it can throw off their equilibrium or cause sudden emotional or physical pain; which can come with abrupt alignment. Now I have better mastery over my abilities and I can control how much I affect peoples homeostasis,so now I don’t fear my abilities more than reasonable. I believe my abilities are just natural evolution and that evolution can be sped up during life through conscious and subconscious effort. Many of you have these abilities too but your mentality, morals,motives, imagination, and/or psychology blocks your abilities from fully manifesting or even partially manifesting. Now most of these things can be ignored if you have innate talent, but if you have innate talent you will not want to ignore these and you will need to focus on these in order to make your abilities stronger. I am lenient with the knowledge I give because people who lack balance but have strength can use it to inflate their ego and destroy others, so I’m choosing to show my mastery of the craft slowly but surely. I know and truly believe mastery of self will be obtained by everyone who truly wants it, and it will lead to the healthiest collective consciousness. Evolution is forever or never. Who wants to evolve with me?

I was able to then cleanse off slowly and stepped out at the 7 minutes mark. I’m gonna try another bath in another 13 hours at 3am 😀

3 years strait cold showers and i know he is right on. only been sick few times for reasons i could not explain. I had to re write this since i do get sick often, just most of the time i know its food related, or an alergic reaction to soaps or chemicals. I have so much inflamation sometimes its crazy.. cold showers help me live a normal life. It is trully amazing..

It's three years for me as well and I'm sick as often as before. About twice a year.

@@MrCmon113 is your water really cold?
@MrCmon1134 жыл бұрын
@@realhlth5672 I don't really have a comparison. I live in Germany, but I guess how cold it gets depends on the water supply of the city.

@@MrCmon113 i take skin temps with a temperature scaner. My body gets about 72 degrees so i bet mine come out at high 60's. My exp with city water is that all the piping and routing sometimes can help loose the deep cool from underground or basement house set ups. I wont moove unless i find a place with a good shower.

I think this has been known in many parts in the east for thousands of years.. that you can transform yourself internally with the power of your mind. The only difference is that now, the west is embracing it as well.

Bravo... an average man making 'experts' look stupid. Just shows, you should never let 'experts' dictate what is possible.

Gibbet Hoskins Scientists can only study what they can observe, and there aren't a whole lot of people like this to observe. They aren't idiots, they just need new data.

That's bullshit, no self-respecting "expert" claims certainty, neither they can claim, everything is a doubt, but some hypothesis can be hold true, when they are put thru the scientific method and they come out fairly intact. When someone proves it otherwise, if it passes the scrutiny, it becomes the new standard. That's how science works and that's why you should believe in it.
