Exactly why I picked him up over the Mcf releases. The gigantic proportions really throw me off as in the og knightfall storyline he's just a lil bit taller than Batman and while he is very muscular, his proportions were normal. Glad that this fig can get fudged in with my McFarlane display as well.

Beast isn't that big/large, ,5'11 is his listed hgt. Certain artists just take "artistic" license and draw him bigger than he actually is. John Byrne and the late great George Perez drew him at his correct hgt and drew him the best imo. They never drew him as a hulking character.

They went with the middle ground of Graham Nolan’s more proportionate art and Jim Apparos hairy stocky Bane art. Also Knightfall specifically he didn’t have the red button or the green tube

In the comics Bane and Batman are relatively equal due to them both being extremely smart and good in h2h combat, Bane has broken Batman’s back with and without Venom. Also this is an amazing review like usual, keep up the amazing content

"mini" Thor is based on his 60s look when Kirby drew him as being the same hgt as Cap and Ironman who are both 6'2. Wasn't until the 70s-80s, that he was depicted as being 6'6. I'm hoping Mafex revisits Thor at his taller hgt in the near future.

The previous Knightfall Azbats figure IS the one that defeated Bane, the fully armoured one didnt fight Bane. Also Bane wasnt a Martial artist, it all came from the Venom and his implants

Articulation looks good, but the sculpt isn't doing it for me...the proportions just seem off, to my eye. Guess I'm gonna hold onto my McFarlane Multiverse Bane!
