Let me try to answer your question- why def of HMWK does not cause clinical bleeding, neither does deficiency of prekallokerin ( without checking if I am right🤪) Answer- the main activator of factor XII is SEC which is readily available whenever there is an injury, the presence of HMWK and Kallikerin is probably to make the coagulation more effective. Okay @medicosis, let me know if I am right or wrong😬

1)because HMWK and PreKall.are juste two ways of activating the coagulation, and not the only ones 2) because the first response is the extrinsic pathway, which doesnt need any of those.

My answer is deficiency of HMWK doesnot cause clinical bleeding Because coagulation pathway is activated by various other factors like sub endothelial connective, platelet factor 3, TXA2,tissue thromboplastin. So even if HMWK is deficient it's not a problem. I hope I got it right. Am I right?
