Farmers DO have a use in the Barn. They can convert manure into fertiliser, separate grain from wheat/rye to give you seeds, make flour from the grain, daub from clay and straw, animal feed and separate flax stalks from the grain in harvested flax to be converted into linen thread. They may also be used to transport these things to resource storage. Btw, you picked a VERY bad place to build your village. There is little room to expand and not much flat terrain to build on. You need much more room for crops, livestock and to build larger buildings like Resource storage, Taverns, additional housing etc.

Housing works like this, you can assign two people to a house, the remaining slots on that house are reserved for children that those two people produce. Presumably, this means it's best to assign a male and female per house.

I assigned villagers to tasks but I cant find their daily work afterwards (smithy, innkeeper, etc) but woodcutter and hunting works fine, does the distance between the storages and crafting station matter?

In my town I have 13 people, including my wife and child. And since I have put a man and women in each house one other women became a mother too. To bad I'm now missing 2 workers :D

There is a two adult limit per house. The other slots are from children from what I've noticed. Great vid.

Thank you for this, I wanted to figure out why I cannot assign my workers to houses. I have three places not being used because the houses are only taking two people even the Small house which has three spaces to sleep without sharing the double. It’s so frustrating!

you can destroy the tree stumps by crouching and punching them (unequip your current tool so you can use your fists)

check your storage ... they deliver directly to the storage, not to the woodshed ...

ugh...all my workers have such low skills. I actually have a Gerwazy in my game. None of them have higher than 3's. Mostly 1's and 2's. lol..."yeah he's an asshole. Crack me up.
