Why would you want instructions for a survival game? The point is to figure it out, that's what makes it fun.

@@makijezakon That is the great thing about most any survival game, you can play it how you want to. Not everyone needs or wants to play the games the same way and some folks like to better understand the dynamics of a game so they can enjoy it more, without frustration. Hince the reason you can find instructions or tutorials for most everything on the interwebs. Thank you for your question.

it has a pretty decent help menu that gives you the basics of every mechanic. it's up to you to figure out the details, and some of this stuff is exploits that the devs probably didn't intend.

After the last "major" update I started over. Set my seasons to 7 days and went a whole year without ever talking to Ugiegost. I explored the map, gathered supplies and crafted items. I had over $20,000 before I actually started the game. This was very nice :)

i have also done a 4 day and a 6 day season. I did like the 6 day season more, as I did not feel rushed to get everything done that I wanted to do in a season. However, The winters did feel very long as there was not as much to do compared to the other seasons. Thank you for watching and for your comment.

Broadleaf now has a health return of 2 instead of 10 shown in this video. I believe the Daisy gives 3hp return though.

Tip 5: take your time, I would like to argue this will be true for the entire playtrhough. You can not rush M.D it will bite you in the behind. Tip 4 : No comment as I have stamina and weight limits disabled through the customize menu when you start a new game. Tip 3: I never encountered quests I couldn't deny? However it is still a good tip as some quests currently simply can't be completed when given in certain seasons (there is a quest with berries, when given in Spring, the berries are unripe and the berries from last summer to low in quaity and don't count making it impossible to complete it) F5 is your friend... always. Tip 2: With the new uppdate, feathers are now automatically collected but yes, broadleaf plantanes and St Johns worth are important. So grab survival sense with your second skilpoint (now called experience points) The same is true in hunting. First point in knowledge, second point in the tracking skill. It will show non agro animals in green and agressive ones in red when using your sense Tip 1: Always ... ALWAYS make sure to be properly armed. Even if you are not hunting... two words... Wolf packs. And... you can "skyrim" your fights when you have enough broadleaf. Just hit escape when low on health, gulp down a few broadleaf and fight on ;) This might not be enough when facing a pack of wolves or multiple bears.

I approved. Very useful, just a slight small very, very minor error. But as long as send the message across, that's the most important point. Just a slight correction. F9 is Quick Reload. See very, very minor error ;) On top of that, another one is Iron Arrow/Bolt/Spear causes a bleeding effect than any other material. Such as Stone and Wooden. That's why the Wisent can easily charge you. Unlike the Iron Arrow :) Very good video.

Same here just started playing on xbox. I have yet to figure what button I'm able to cycle through my quick slot. Without pulling up the scroll wheel and selecting which one I want in hand. Has gotten me killed a couple times. I can play M/K . But unable to keybind anything being I'm on xbox and it doesn't let me lol.

I prefer the Iron tipped cudgel for melee, especially for bandits and moose and you can block with it (except the bandit archers). Having some kind of equipped torch is handy to wave at the wolves to chase them off if you need to.

Even when I'm overload I cannot help myself from picking up one more stone or stick so I can craft more knives. ;) Does tip 3.2 help with the between season events you get?

It does not stop you from having an event, however, if you F5 before the season change and the event you get has a negative result, then you can F9 to reload and you will be back at your quicksave before the season change again. At this point, you may or may not get an event, but if you do get an event it could be a different event or even a different result. I don't always remember to F5 before season change but it is a good idea to quicksave often.

What indication do you have on the menu or somewhere else about the change of Season. Where is it? So I know where to look for it. The days left in a season.

The only indications of "Time Left" in the season is the Season half moon on the direction bar at the top of the screen. The bar fills up more each day that passes in the game. Otherwise, you can see what day it currently is in the game by opening the map and looking along the top info bar. This will tell you what year and day it is in game.

This game still has the bobbing, and swaying effect in the game i see... = This gave me motion sickness without being on a boat lol. I can play Ark and any space open game, but this one made me sick all the time. " shame"

Interesting, Have you let the devs know about this through the Steam forums or the Toplitz discord? I'm not sure they can do anything about the motion, but at least they would know this could be happening to others too.

@@HecticNasari There was a big open forum to it. They placed a option in the game to reduce it. But if you stand still in the game, you will see your guy moves up and down for no reason at all. Even with a weapon in hand you can see it on a larger scale. Many people posted that the option in the settings was not working. From your game video i see the guy still moves up and down, like on a boat lol. It was this motion that got many I'll. If you play any other open game, you will see your player is motionless, this is normal for a reason. People that have motion sickness or mild epilepsy can have issues. Of course games with flashes, and strobes Do place the warnings on their product. My symptoms with this games release was 2 things. "1" I started to get a very minor head ache. Then 20 mins into the game, the motion sickness kicked in. I knew what it was right away. I allowed my player to stand still, but he does not stand still. " he moves up and down, like he is on something floating lol" I don't know about you, but when I'm outside. I don't bob up and down standing still, or when doing something lol. Can you imagine, if out of the blue you did this for say 30 mins? I bet you get sick, or not feel to well hahaha :)

There is a option to turn off Headbobbing in the gameplay options, not sure if this was added in one of the recent updates (I only just started playing the game) or if it was already there and doesn't fix the issue for you. Edit: Actually I see from one of the other replies they already mentioned the setting was there but wasn't working properly.
