Medieval Dynasty Village Building Order - Level 2 Settlement

In this medieval Dynasty video i go through the next stage of development for building order. I will walk you through the stages that you will need to progress through to build your first eight buildings.
Your Own Little Village
So you got your axe now, found that damn reed and have to find a nice little spot to call your own. Where should that be? At the end where exactly you want your home to be is your own choice but there are a few points you should keep in mind.
You need Water that’s a fact. So starting your house close to a river or lake is a very good idea.
Be aware of your Neighbours because having wolves right next door might not be what you want, especially since animals respawn around twice a day (from my experience).
Resources are very important, ranging from logs to clay. Building close to a forest, some mountains, a spot for a mine or clay pits is a good idea and you should take your time to look around before deciding where you want your village to be built.
Space you’ll need some decent space for all the buildings that will be built in the future!

Nice video . Helped out alot . The only thing I saw that confused me was why not removing the stumps. All that land underneath that can be used for building or farming ..little waist full. The game won't let you place any thing there till the stumps are removed . ..but still a well thought out video and very informative..

When i made this video, stumps couldn't be removed. That's the only reason.

What are your thoughts on building a Smithy in lieu of a Workshop? Isn’t there the same workbench in both that craft the same items? Am I missing something?

I believe they will be adding functionality for the forge, so theres that. Also, can youy make all of the iron tools in the workshop?

Don't tree stumps block building placement? You can buy or make a wooden shovel and remove the stumps. The closest merchant selling shovels is in Borowo. You'll also get one log for each stump removed.

They do now. So, its a touch more inconvenient, but it is more realistic.

Also, the house roofs need planks now instead of logs and you can't make planks without a Woodshed II I believe - why are you still playing in the old version? Update it already :P

i found i had to remove the stumps to build in some areas

The workshop should have been one of your first four buildings, it would have allowed you to make a wooden shovel that would have allowed you to clear all those stumps so you could have A: had more building room, and B: an additional stump per tree.

Making a workshop just for that is a waste of free building slot. One can just steal a shovel in one of the other villages.

Edited code in the save file to increase carry weight. Only use it for making build videos, to speed up the process. Don't recommend it for regular play throughs, as it makes the game less stable.

Edited code lines in the save file to increase carry weight. I don't use it for personal gameplay, just for build videos, as it allows me to do stuff like this in an hour or two, instead of three or four.

Edited code in game files to increase carry weight, and decrease thirst and hunger. Only use it for build videos like this as they make it take less time to record. Don't recommend it for regular playthroughs, as it tends to make the game crash a lot.

Tutorials are great but this is much harder on the actual release of the game and without using cheats like you are.

The "Cheats" are just to speed up the filming for these videos, i've proven them before filming, but being able to carry more supplies makes filming them in a reasonable amount of time possible.
