I drove out Summer of 19 from PA to Colorado and camped for 3 weeks. This was our last stop... Stayed for 3 days and did the Medano Pass. Such a spectacular park! The stars were incredibly bright at night with clear skies and no light pollution.

Never a dull moment. Well maybe the first run. 🤪 Danny your channel has become one of my favorite on KZbin. Y'all keep me young and remind me how much fun I had growing up in the edgemont 8th ward. Before Burton was even accompany my friends and I would wax the bottom of our and snowboard /sled down the Churchill. Winterstick was the only snowboarding company at the time and I believe about we were about seven or eight years old. Drove by here on the way from monarch mountain in Salina down to Taos New Mexico. Didn’t think it was worth stopping at. Looked boring from the distance. If you want to do a really unique challenge, the world's highest sand dunes (elevation-wise) are where I'm originally from. Dunas Federico Kirbus, in Catamarca, Argentina. Plus, it's not terribly far from Ojos del Salado, the world's tallest volcano.
