My fiancé sometimes has trouble sleeping and I suggested breathing techniques. I found this video and it worked so well he didn’t make it to the end! Now he’ll ask for “the breathing lady” if he’s having trouble sleeping and he still has yet to make it to the end of the video! Thank you so much.

Used this so many times, particularly the breathing to relax and fall asleep. Now don't need the video just using the breathing. You have helped change a small part of my life for the better. Thankyou.

Thank you for helping me relax, connect with my body, and for reminding me to be gentle with myself. I had no idea my lungs could hold that much air.

Brett, I just wanted to thank you. I'm in my late teen years, and I have had trouble falling asleep ever since I was a very little girl. I found this video about a month ago and every night I fall asleep listening to it. It has yet to fail me. I am so happy you posted this. I've been much happier and relaxed this past month, and I am FINALLY able to get up earlier like I've always wanted. :) So thank you.

I googled breathing techniques for sleeping and I found this video. So I watched it and did the breathing with you and felt so relaxed afterwards. I've had ALOT on my mind lately and been feeling very down about myself and this helped me let go of it for the time being so I can relax and get some rest. Thank you for this video. :-)

This meditation definitely helped put my physical body to sleep and relax but didn't help my mind. I just couldn't turn it off! Then of course I got frustrated and ruined any effect I gained from the meditation.

I have a very low lung capacity and I found that I can't inhale as long as suggested here and it left me completely out of breath. And since I'm doing similar breathing exercises when I'm on a bout of anxiety, it reminds me of those bouts. It woke me up even further.
@religionwontfreeus9 жыл бұрын
I had a similar problem with feeling a lack of lung capacity and getting light headed. I didn't try to hold breaths as long and I had to stop at 7 minutes. I think I'm doing something wrong, my stomach seems to go out when I breathe in and in when I exhale. Now my stomach, head, and ribs kind of hurt. Any suggestions? (Nothing against this video either, it's good)
@BrettLarkinYoga9 жыл бұрын
Crippled Potato ***** +religionwontfreeus yes, exactly. Go at your own pace. It's totally fine to be outside of my instruction...the idea is to take deep breathes. Every body is different so do what feels best for you, it's fine to be outside of my breath call. I have another bedtime meditation coming soon as well which perhaps you'll like better!

Don't forget to put your phone in airplane mode, and turn of the wifi, and wear blue blocking glasses, cover your skin past sunset to avoid artificial light that breaks your circadian mechanism (through melatonin which goes so far beyond sleep; it regulates the entire cell cycle). Check out teachers like Dr. Kruse and Nathan Walz about the primary importance of light in health. Even food is all about light. And probably the only reason people have to be very careful about food is because they have to compensate for their bad habits with regard to wireless tech and light at night. Please learn about this issue it is driving the sixth extinction and is even tied to global warming (particulate pollution cannot get out because of the frequency smog fence created by tech devices... it also traps in heat). Wireless tech is also the cause of the infertility crisis that is realistically portrayed by TV drama handmaid's tale. Yes, it is radiation, just not nuclear that is taking us down. It is wireless radiation. If we all stopped using it, they would collapse we do have the power to change the world but not while beliving the lies of a few that want to maintain power and control and priviledge against natural order of equality and balance and interconnected shared responsibility over all life. All life is our responsibility not just our own.

You should have really made the person offscreen refrain from their continuous rustling of wax paper until you were done. A mic that didn't crackle and snap a couple times a second would be good too. Seriously this seemed like it could have been useful. Seemed like you did a good job creating and performing. But the audio issues make it the opposite of restful for me.

Alright!!!! why watch It then? How do you know what an individual classes as worthy a person has the right to improve themselves in any way they feel. What ever that process may be by either physical training or in this case mental training. I loved the video by the way.
