Hi Pumpkin, I had a similar experience at one point with not being able to meditate because I had a lot of hauntings / thoughts attacking me. There's a technique I used to help me with this I should post the video for. Just know you are not alone, and that the negative thoughts are just old voices in your head, not even your voice, designed to keep you safe/small/thinking in a limited way. You true self and center is so much larger and bigger than these thoughts. Thinking of you!

yeah thanks! I fell hard for a woman at work who, if she even knows I exist, has made it known she doesn't want me around. so, this is helping in my journey to heal that, and get better. was stressing out here at work, and this video calmed me down. thanks! it's been bout an hour and I'm still chill!

Hi Brett, I have been through three painful breakups over the last 6 years. This has been an amazing healing meditation. When I started repeating the yam, I got a very saharp pain in my heart. After finishing it still was there. I will continue doing the meditation un it stops. Namaste

Thank you for teaching this, it came to me at a time when I needed so much comfort and healing. Ended a two year relationship with a lot of love from both parts and I can feel in my heart, he is suffering just like I am. One of the worst feelings we can have is guilt. Guilt from making someone you love suffer. Now my work will be on forgiveness. Forgiving myself for being just a human being with so many faults. Thank you again.

Thank you so much, Brett. It was such a relief to learn a new way of being sad yet connected to the Universe in those feelings with all others. What I learn through yoga that applies to life off the mat is nothing short of amazing. Much gratitude for your generosity and all you do. PS I'm rejoining the Uplifted community Feb.1, 2018. I'll modify poses so as not to aggravate my osteoporosis. I've had 5 vertebral compressions fractures from the work I do, and have done in construction. I'm mostly healed now, just have to be gentle to body during some poses. xx

Thank you so much for this video, i feel so relieved at this moment. I've been somewhat interested in meditation for some time now but haven't ever had some special results from it. After just having my hearth broken, i tought maybe meditation would help and i'm glad I came across your video. This really is the first time i've experienced something like this from meditation and my hearth seems to finaly have stopped feeling like it's constantly being stabbed. I am going through a heartbreak at the moment as the guy I am in love with doesn't seem to love me back. I found this meditation and took to my yoga mat to sit and have some time alone with myself. I definitely was able to take some importance from it, but another side of me is so consumed by hurt and anger and sadness. I hate that I feel this way, and that he doesn't seem to care. How can I draw my attention away from that and towards the universal heartbreak? x

After 8 months I was still not over it.. I got better and now I am back with him! It was the hardest thing I have ever have to get through. I am stronger at least now and no more heartbreak:)!

This is encouraging. I stumbled upon this video after I've been dealing with the worst heartache of my life. I've lost the girl of my dreams, someone that comes around once in a lifetime, it's only been 5 weeks but I'm trying to maintain patience and hope for optimism down the road. I have to believe, especially when every fiber in your body and heart sees beauty unlike any other.
