This is a very deep film that never got the love it deserved. A very broken man, changed his heart from seeing honesty and loyalty. As well as seeing Integrity from people who lived for something more than just themselves

Un de mes films favoris. Cet homme brisé par les guerres et qui retrouve la paix et la sérénité auprès d'un clan qui finit par l'accepter... Tom Cruise est fantastique dans ce rôle et la musique est juste magnifique. Elle prend aux tripes ! Quand j'ai un coup de blues je le ré ré regarde pour essayer de retrouver la paix avec moi même.

Original story :Jules Brunet (2 January 1838 - 12 August 1911) was a French military officer who served the Tokugawa shogunate during the Boshin War in Japan.
