I like how the picture perfectly encapsulates Alfred. He has his back to the big city as Alfred concerns himself with minutia duties rather than the big wide world. These domestic duties are present with the tray next to him. He is however at the centre of the Batman world, displayed by his holding of the letter which has the ability to shatter the big world’s most central character(s).

Se llama atención. Es el único espacio donde tengo algo de control. Y cada día puedo desarrollarla más. Mi mente envía 60000 pensamientos al día. Soy yo el que debo escoger a cuál presto mi atención. A cuál dejo ir. ¿Cuál de ellos está alineado con mis objetivos?. El silencio. Cuando mi mente envía pensamientos de abandono, escape o dudas hago lo siguiente: Recuperar las consciencia con la respiración. Si solo me concentro en el acto que llevo acabo no habrá espacio para las dudas. Debo ser la acción, no una marioneta, volando hacia ninguna parte, empujada por el flujo de pensamientos. Claro que habrá rachas de viento, pero debo ser yo con mi atención quien fije los pies a tierra. Entrena tú atención y serás dueño de ti, de tus actos. De lo que realmente puedes controlar. Si tengo eso nada ni nadie podrá frustrarme. Es mi única arma para luchar esa guerra interior. Concentración, amor y suerte.
