I struggle with depression and anxiety. I’ve also have been through a lot of mental torment, manipulation, and so on for as long as I can remember. Beginning of this year, I finally let go of something’s that where really controlling my views on my family, my situation, and moving on from the past. I’ve never done that and Ive felt free for the first time. Ive been able to try and focus on me more. But I’ve been struggling with negative intrusive thoughts recently and they’ve really have been so controlling on how I’ve been feeling about them. It’s been putting me in a negative place. Never have really taught myself that my thoughts are just thoughts. I’ve never been taught self love, only judgment. I decided to try to do more mindfulness and awareness of my thoughts and feelings and did some research as to why intrusive thoughts (especially negative ones) can be so harmful and overwhelming when it doesn’t define who you are. I’ve never tried meditation before and this has been so surprisingly helpful! Im glad that I’ve found this channel!

I find this to be a fantastic meditation as some of the affirmations bring up negative feelings. Done this twice now, need to do more as this time I started to explore why this would be. Then I just tweaked these two affirmations a little and positive feelings then came through. One of the most self-exploratory meditations I've ever done. Thank you very much for this. Just fascinating.

Just yesterday I was in a very bad moment with myself. I tried to be in my best "zen" during a night out but finally I let my anxiety ate me whole. Today is a new day, I can start over and over with a clear mind, without guilt, fogiving myself with compassion. Thanks for this one. I deserve this time of meditation. I deserve to accept myself and to love it all. Thank you.

I liked this one! Sometimes I find it hard to actually believe the affirmations I’m telling myself though. Maybe just repetition helps that.

I respect everyone in the comments admitting the resistance or skepticism that arises when hearing or repeating these affirmations. Definitely part of the practice, so I'm glad people are noticing these parts of their mind.

I'm pretty critical thinker person. Positive style of thinking is just so ... weird and frustrating for me. But still, I find this meditation very helpful. Thank you♥️
