Thank you!! I went to my dentist yesterday because of jaw pain for over a week and she said it's from grinding at night and made a mold for a night guard. I found this meditation (I practice mindfulness) and did it during the day and before I went to bed last night I woke up with a normal jaw! No pain! I am so grateful to you for posting this beautiful meditation ✌️!!

Barb Jones I have this same issue. And get tension as well in my cheeks like I’m smiling all the time but I’m not. Major facial tension, clenching, grinding. Had the mouth guard from my dentist. Was awful. Didn’t solve the problem and made my jaw issues worse. I am going to try this video. I’ve been practicing mindfulness meditation too as well.

I have been suffering from jaw tension and grinding for over five years. This meditation along with the yoga for jaw tension have been so helpful Karuna. The first time I've had a lasting release, (tears!) in two years, without taking the issue out to healers or Accupunture etc. I tried everything I knew but never really released by myself. Just having the encouragement at the right time, to speak your truth, has turned the page for me. 🙏💖💧!

Can i lay on the ground during this? I become very lightheaded when I sit upright when I meditate.

Thank you for your question. Yes, feel free to lay down if an upright posture is not comfortable. A key is to not fall asleep! Perhaps you also wish to try some breathing practices to see if this helps when you are upright? I do have a few breathwork videos on my channel.

Nice, I will check those videos out! My torso is incredibly tense, so breathing is difficult! Also, I have a bad habit of almost falling asleep when laying down meditating:p
