Such a heartwarming note to receive this week! Sender has offered permission to share here with you. :) Dear Karuna, I’ve been clenching my teeth for the past 8 years. I came across a video of yours on KZbin a couple of weeks ago (but I really started implementing it a week ago, since I was still doubtful). The video was about teeth grinding and clenching. I must admit I found many natural ways to heal myself from many things over the years. But the clenching terrorized me no matter what I tried; vitamins, supplements, teas, meditations, working out… you name it. Your video about how to massage the jaw muscles worked where everything else failed! I know it might be too early to speak, but I’ve been waking up a whole week with no headaches or pain! I sleep relaxed. And in general I feel better every day! I’m amazed and shocked but mainly grateful. I just had to write to you and say thank you! A million thank yous! You saved my life. There is really no other way to put it.

I’ve had tmjd for almost 10 years now and lemme tell ya this is the first and only thing I’ve found that actually helps relieve the tension!!! Mouth guards actually make it worse for me, idk if I’m just using bad ones because I usually go for the cheapest one as it is all I can afford atm but wow I’m gonna do this every morning and night!!!! Thank you!

Wow!! This is magic! You are amazing!! I have been suffering for weeks and you made me access painful areas I didn’t know existed, and I’m a dentist! 10 minutes later and the pain and tension is 70 gone I can’t believe it

OMG! thanks u so much!! I'm a new mom my son is turning one and had to get back to work to be able to afford a small birthday for him, between my new job, my son getting used to a sleeping schedule and my husband stepping on 2 nails at work and taking a break. This is the first time ever I have felt this pain, its been about 2 weeks I been surviving on Tylenol and ibuprofen. I felt so much better right before bed, thank you so much!!!

The "fingers under cheekbones" is a relief I have never felt before. I am nervous doing that as I'm afraid I may hit a nerve or something. But I'll keep it easy. Thank you so much for this. I suffer from Bruxism due to hyper vigilance 24/7 and it's pure hell. Be well!

Oh my gosh! I have had this problem for years... my jaw has been so tight that I even have been told I dont open my mouth when talking, not too mention I have headaches all the time from it. I just did this while watching it for the first time and my jaw feels about 50percent less tense. and I did it for only about 5 minutes.. wow.. thank you. I will be doing this at night before bed and again during the day.

OUCH! Ive had this as long as I can remember....When I first used this technique everything that I applied pressure to hurt...Grandually its releasing. I use it all the time now..amazing - thank you.

This is an exciting comment, Mik! I couldn't be happier to hear this. Movement serves as medicine. With opioid use so high, I do my best teach in a way where people understand that aligned movement, breathing and meditation are all proactive ways to care for ourself. Being proactive with the care of our physical body through aligned movement; and being proactive with our emotions and mental fitness through breathing practices and meditation is empowering and energising. Glad this sequence works so well for you.

This video saved my life! I developed tinnitus from tmj, went to doctors, dentist, and an ENT doctor. Once I started doing these exercises the tinnitus went away. At first I thought it maybe was a coincidence but the tinnitus has returned occasionally and this video works every time. Thank you!!!!

4:40 and on absolutely cured my TMJ. I couldn't clench my jaw for a day before I watched this video. Stretching those muscles with your technique, slowly with a good amount of steady pressure, is absolutely perfect. I expanded and started to do it with basically my whole head and neck--Slow, direct, steady pressure with every muscle I never knew I had until it feels better. I can't believe the amount of pain and pressure that has been released only over the course of a few days. Thank you so much for everything!

Thank you so much for this video. Like you said in your video, after doing these movements, I felt like I have relieved tension from a decade ago. I have had TMJ issue for the past 7 years after I had a sinus surgery and been on all types of meds, but none helps with the relieved of the pain and tension problems. However, after doing these short movements, I felt so happy. Because of all the pain, I go through, I become extremely moody most of the time. I really can't say how much I appreciate this video and will continue to do these movements.

This is outrageous how good this it! I've been grinding my teeth for years without understanding how to stop it. I actually googled this as I was getting another headache from doing it whilst working. I feel so much better! That said I realised just how tense my muscles are! Especially under my jaw, shocking. It might take a few days of practice before my muscles fully relax again! Thank you.

Update: 2 weeks after I posted my comments I developed a massive ear and throat infection. And I had no more pain in my jaw. These massages worked so much to relieve my pain at the time. Thank you so much👍

I have been following your exercises daily for a few weeks and my jaw is starting to release. I am so much more aware of the part my neck tension plays in my jaw tension. I use my voice in my work so releasing jaw tension is essential. THANK YOU!

Wonderful update and I'm glad to hear that you are aware of how neck tension and jaw tension are related. The entire spine plays a role and its exciting to discover how it's all interconnected: This is why good understanding of alignment in the body is vital to overall body health and optimal function. Terrific routine. Thank you for posting. I have TMJ and sleep apnea due to obstruction. The mask at night aggravates the TMJ. This is a wonderful routine for me, both before and after sleep. Thanks again.

I'm gonna try this more often, even though for some reason it gets me anxious and uncomfortable to press around in my body, but that's the same when the doctor puts a bit pressure on my stomach, guess I'm just very sensitive haha. Wow. Thank you so much. I've had TMJ since a disastrous root canal that landed me in the ER, and then in emergency surgery. So much trauma to my jaw that I could barely open my mouth. I wear a plastic mouth guard at night, which helps, but this routine relieved so much pressure, it's amazing! Definitely will be doing it before bed. Thank you for posting this!

Thank you, thank you, thank you! This was amazing and I actually felt some energetic and muscle releases. I especially felt releases as I played around with my upper teeth area/mid cheeks. I pushed my thumbs up and against my upper cheek area and I started yawning and coughing and felt a shake and chill come up my body,! When I released my thumbs I actually felt the energy over my face shifting, it was all tingly and I started laughing. What a rush! This was so releasing, and I didnt even know I some of these spots needed releasing. Thank you

This is a life saver. This along with tour other meditation helped my tense jaw this morning. I looked through all your videos in search of a video for tension headaches. Do you have one that maybe I didn’t see?

Thanks a lot.. instantly my Jaw clenching disappeared.. I am going to do this every day.. it was really painful while doing but at the end it is relaxing.. loads of love from India..
