Why isn't this more popular? It legit puts me out.

Thank you so much! I'm glad it works for you. As to popularity? It's a big ol' noisy world, but I appreciate your kind comment. :D

This is my favourite video. I am a fan of meditations on its own so it’s a beautiful mix of interesting, boring, and ASMR to fall asleep to. Almost every night I listen

What's this exact melody playing in the background? I've been searching it for a while but I can't seem to find it, that's one of the most calming melodies i've ever heard.

I'm so glad you like it! That was a custom track made for me by the composer of several other backing pieces used on the podcast. His name is Lee Rosevere, and you can find all of his work on Bandcamp here: leerosevere.bandcamp.com/ He also has his own podcast called "Five Minute Meditations". Recommend!

Who is translator of the book. Haye?
@BoringBooksPod3 жыл бұрын
It appears to be an updated version of the translation by Meric Casaubon, but the copy I have doesn't say who did that. Here's a link to the version I'm reading from (it's a free download): www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/2680

I believe you did a video with a cigar. This is perfect for you.

Nope, not me, but a book on cigars or pipes would be fun to read.

This one is too quiet urgent and tense with the music. Would u consider rereading it the way you read now? 🙏🏽

I'd love to redo a lot of these old ones in the future, but time is a big issue, alas! Maybe someday. :)

@@BoringBooksPod Thank you. I awoke with a horrible migraine and (taking Excedrin and Tums and placing a cold washcloth on my forehead) I found your reading very soothing. Thank you so much.

Sorry my particular readings don't do it for you. Have you tried Gaslamp ASMR? I really enjoyed this one particularly: kzbin.info/www/bejne/op-0Xp9paNV4rpI

Sorry you found thanking my composer too long. Let me recommend two sources for plain audiobooks for you: Librivox.org (all public domain books and completely free), and Libro.fm, a great source for current audiobooks that allows you to split their profit with the independent bookstore of your choice.
