Εμφανής ο βαθμός δυσκολίας του βίντεο αλλά όμως οι δύσκολες στιγμές είναι αυτές που δίνουν τη μεγαλύτερη ικανοποίηση. Και πάλι συγχαρητήρια

This is what I was searching for. I want to shift into plant based diet. It's really good to eat nutritious foods. The body would benefit a lot.

Absolutely! Mediterranean is one of the best diets not just to lose weight but also for a healthy lifestyle and it may prolong one's life ;)

I have pre-diabetes and my doctor recommended this diet, and it is a lifestyle change but I like it. I mix it up and put in Latin American ingredients like chiles and corn tortillas.

Great job! Thank you so much for demystifying the myth of carbohydrates (the good ones!). I can't stand with people like “oh, Italian food? Pizza, pasta and I’d get fat” bla bla. As you said, it’s much more than that, it’s a lifestyle! Proudly Mediterranean raised 🇮🇹 Even prouder after learning about the great environmental impact of such a diet! Thank you so much once again :))

This diet is shown to have positive impacts on those with Crohn’s disease. How would one adjust the diet to gain weight back? Is it just a matter of increasing the healthy fat intake? Also, how would those who are supposed to avoid whole nuts and seeds go about getting the most out of this lifestyle?
@anna89nid3 жыл бұрын
Hi Lucas, thank you for the comment! You are correct, higher adherence to the Mediterranean Diet results in lowering Chron's disease symptoms. When you try to gain the weight back, you can follow again the MD by adjusting food portions. Avoiding nuts and seeds doesn't mean not getting the benefits of the MD, you would still get healthy fats from olive oil, avocado, oily fish like salmon, greek yogurt, and other products.

Question: how often is it better to eat avocado per week? Thank you!
@greekmamalife4 жыл бұрын
Avocado falls in the fatty food category, so I would say treat it as that, half if small or 1/4 if large with your meal. If you have other fatty food ingredients with your meals such as olive oil or feta cheese, then eat a bit less or skip.
